....but Kimmorley is the Test half.

Yeah, but isn't Gus still the NSW coach?

It will be anyone BUT BK if that is the case, I fear...

Could be Sherwin, Finch or whoever the Dragons choose to play at 7

Not our problem though, is it?
Do we want our main player playing to make that merkin Gus look good?

If Johns' attitude was a tenth as good as the way he plays, I might have felt some pity for him. Unfortunately, I think he's a low merkin, so he can suffer in his jocks...

As for Gould, I hope he doesnt pick Kimmorley and goes on to lose the series 3-0. That would show the world what a f*cking disgrace he is.

I think it will be a toss up between Gower and Kimmorley. Both premiership winning halves and whoever is selected should be captain.

For a surprise, Gould reunites the Shark's 2001 combination of Presto and Dykes in the halves.

I actually feel sorry for Johns. If it is a cruciate he's done, then he will be gone for the season. I know a lot of people hate him, but the fact is he IS a good player and a lot people like to watch him play.
It will be a HUGE blow to Newcastle now too, so when do the Sharkies play them? :p

He would have been out when we play them anyway.
It's the week before an Origin game.

So now we'll have Kimmorley out, instead of having him up against some young kid.

Hopefully Johns comes back from this. He loves the game too much to sit it out like that. And besides, Rugby League needs players like him.

Maybe not, gus is running the show remember (from nrl.com)

Cronulla's Brett Kimmorley, the incumbent Test halfback, is likely to wear the No.7 jersey in the Anzac Test against New Zealand while NSW coach Phil Gould today admitted the form of Trent Barrett was likely to dictate who played halfback for NSW.

With Minichiello almost garaunteed the number 1, we will need 2 points of attack in the halves, so Barrett will need a someone like BK inside him anyway. If Barrett is still out then I'd have to say the job should go to Gower and Campbell. I know that makes a little vulnerable in defense but the form players must be picked.
