I've seen it and anyone who is a Christian will be deeply affected by it. It's the last 12 hours of Jesus' life, very violent and faithfully follows the Biblical accounts. The film is in Latin and Aramaic, the languages spoken at the time and it is a little distracting following the subtitles, though you don't really need to as anyone with a rudimentary grasp of the Bible will be able to follow it.
As for anti-Semiticism, it is a fact, according to the Bible at least, that the Jewish money lenders were responsible for pressuring the Romans to do something about Jesus after he trashed their temple. Everyone was bloodthirsty at the time and I don't think it portrays them in any worse light than the Romans.
