It’s funny, I look at Sticky’s teams and think ‘what is their style’…. Where do you see the Sticky influence? What type of rugby are Canberra trying to play? They’ve got no real identity in their style…. You look at Storm - they’re intense, relentless pressure etc, roosters - defensive wall underpins everything, great structure to free up their stars, Eels - smash you up the middle and play on the back of that, even the Knights - Chuck it to Ponga, Titans - Chuck it to Fifita… Sharks of old - grit, determination, drag you down to our level and beat you with experience, Fitz Sharks - defensive wall, slinky skills out wide….

What style of play do the Raiders go to nowadays? Just look like a bunch of decent players, having a crack most of the time. No real purpose, no obvious tactics, no particular strengths or USP, they’re just a ‘meh’ team - like the Cowboys, the Dragons, the Tigers.

Ricky is certainly no super coach.
