Soccer fans seem to also like wrestling.

I'd rather Parra be done up as further recognition of their importance of Western Sydney.

The Tigers, Panthers and Dogs can all play games there and it can get some good use and thus good corporate patronage.

Soccer can play internationals there against mediocre opponents and rugby can use it for second tier Tests.

Sydney is finally starting to gravitate towards Parramatta and we should be looking to build on that instead of pie-in-the-sky ideas like Liverpool or eastern-centric ideas like the SFS.

Having said that, I can't see why both can't be done and Sydney adopts a 3 Stadium approach for larger events.

logistcally does it cost more to have a game at homebush for a crowd of say 20K than it would at parra stadium?

Wasn't there a government report saying that they were aiming toward a three stadium approach (Sydney, Homebush, and greater west)? It was just a matter of whether Parramatta can get an upgrade to be the third, or whether it would be at Penrith or something at Blacktown....

No point having one at Homebush and at Parra. They are very close. Much better further out at Penrith or somewhere.

I disagree. Coming from the west I know that the traffic increases significantly once you pass the Cumberland Highway exit. I can take just as long to get from Parra to Homebush as it does from the Mountains to Parra, sometimes.

There is a massive difference in game day travel for a game at Parra and a game at Homebush for people coming along the M4 (Penrith) or the M7 (South-West).

That looks like a knock down rebuild job...

They could probably renovate to get it there, but it would take a few stages
