If you're going to expect private investors to find your Olympic infrastructure you have to make some concessions.

thats a bit harsh .... they are at least experts at being useless
It shouldn't be that hard to find - it's the biggest stadium in Sydney.
I'd be very surprised if there wasn't sufficient room for a 35,000 seat stadium. After all, you only have to increase the diameter of a circle a little bit to massively increase its volume. How many mathematicians do we have on this board? Perhaps they can tell us.
wait a second are you saying ANZ can dictate the size of other competing stadiums which idiot signed this contract?

It's not a circle, silly. It's an oval.
It's actually a lot easier to get shit done in the third world, Suity. Things aren't as regulated, and bribes are cheaper than the price of dealing with bureaucracy.

Regardless, there is plenty of room.
All we need to do is f**k off the swimming pool (relocate it to the new residential development area north of the Leagues Club) and piss off the southern training field. There's room for another Suncorp there if only this country was progressive enough to make such decisions. Parramatta will be the hub of a population of over 3 million people within 20 years. It's a joke that we cannot keep up with 3rd world countries when it comes to stadium infrastructure.
I read about so many 3rd world countries building shit hot stadiums (http://www.skyscrapercity.com/forumdisplay.php?f=263 , yet us..........? We couldn't organise the building of a decent Port-a-loo.
Suity
If we're talking about a total rebuild for a new stadium on site, they could probably incorporate a (modern) swimming pool facility in a similar location, but underneath an expanded stadium footprint?
Kind of like the indoor Homebush aquatic centre, sat below ground and underneath the approaches to a new expanded 35,000 seater.
