Quigs, I don't understand how you could possibly think that this lying bitch is good for this country. We just had an address at work concerning all things coal. Besides a drop in prices and the high aussie $, f**k me she is hurting companies with the carbon tax. What our mob paid in the first 5mths is enough to buy and run a small country!

The part that really shits me is she can throw insults at Abbott and any other male politician but if they respond in like fashion she cries misogynist and turns on the water works.

And Quigs, she may have been democratically elected by the people (although I cannot find anybody to admit voting for her) into parliament but not as the PM.

I don't like many politicians full stop, but she is one of the worst ever and possibly the worst PM ever! The so-called boat refugees shits me to tears. Turn em around or blow em out of the water - particularly the ones who follow and preach bullshyt according to a certain K or Q book.

Coastal is your mob an australian country?

And the high aussie dollar is whose fault?

And youse know something Coastal. It wont be you or me that judges this "Guvment". History will judge this Guvment.

In 30/50 years time people will look back on the NBN, The Carbon Scheme, National Disability Scheme, The Murray Basin Plan, Gonski, the MRRT and will not believe what all the fuss was about.

440 pieces of legislation passed in two years of a hung parliament. Runs on the board. We now have a country the rest of the world is envious of.

Do you remember the fuss over Medicare.

My mob is a multi-national whatever that has to do with it but they do employ thousands of aussies who pay hundreds of thousands of $ in taxes that help pay for all these bloody boat people. The carbon tax has and will continue to cause companies to lay off staff. Yes it is only one factor but without it the sackings would be less. That I know - it's happened where I work. Global warming oh hang on climate change - we must tax mining companies as they are causing it. Perhaps it would do all the supporters of this crap to study a bit of history. Bloody dinosaurs and their coal mines causing the ice age. Droughts occur. Floods occur. We have some hot years and some cold years. Been around long before mines.

The NBN is a crock of shyt - it's only available in certain areas atm and from what I've been told, it's not that flash anyway. The Murray Basin Plan - if it's that good why don't farmers endorse it? They are the best to judge. Oh that's right, politicians and university educated city people know whats best for country folk cause we is all stoopid. The MRRT only refers to coal and iron ore - I wonder why? What about gold, copper or uranium? Gold uses far more toxic chemicals in processing. I'll say it again these companies employ thousands of aussies. I wonder what our unemployment rate would be without them? The NDS whilst I agree should be good for a lot of people, it will also allow more people to rort the system.

Again I make the point - this government has been able to spend money that was in the bank from the previous mob. They have done nothing to keep this country going except spend the $$. Anyone could have done that! It's easy to spend money and make it look like we have a country going forward.

And now, after spending millions to get a seat on the toothless tiger called the UN Security Council, we abstain from voting. Phuken joke. Too many of her cronies are worried about their seats as they are filled with those K or Q book reading aholes.

But that's politics I suppose - look after themselves first and foremost.

Coastal I will answer this for you.
Quigs is part of a rare breed in Australian. They are born left & born into unions. Quigs thinks the corruption is ok from the left, but really bad from the right. Quigs thinks Windmills & solar panels can replace our coal generators & dam hydro generators. Quigs thinks that $2 billion on pink batts , was not enough. Quigs thinks that people with money are out to get him & his ilk, so he counts their money & then looks for a conspiracy theory on how they got it & how they are going to keep it. Then he looks for ways to get that money off them, so he can redistribute that money to the lefty parasites of the community. its not Quigs fault, its how he was born. Its how "lefty lifers" roll. Quigs fails to see that the good people in the right wing electorates that voted for independents are happy that their elected officials backflipped on their persuasion & did a deal with the devil. Those 5 had better enjoy their final days in office
Quigs has a heroe in the country at the moment. Quigs may have even worked along side him, been friends. He is called a bagman. A bagman for pharksake!!! For somebody like quigs, its like saying "our boss". Its a guy who holds a company to ransom against strikes unless they come up with cash donations to the union. The cash is picked up in "paper bags", as I am sure you well know Coastal.

To balance this out, the opposite to quigs is somebody like me. As a stupid young idealogical man, I thought government & big business was bad. I thought terrorism & unionism were probably good things for "us oppressed" peoples. I thought there were conspiracies going on everywhere. Then what is supposed to happen, is you get older, you get wise. Your understanding of socialism & communism grows & you reject their ridiculous ambitions. You begin to understand that greenism has been over run by lefty lifers who are using greenism as a tool for the re-distribution of wealth, anti government, anti consumption, anti globalism & above all, anti-humanism.

But the lefty lifers, can't & wont ever see it. They will see Gillard & see a heroe. Somebody who knifes their friend, who lies to the Australian people from the highest office, whose friends & lovers are corrupt fraudsters & who even lives in a fraudulent relationship.

It's the big big picture Coastal.

You want to see how the rest of the world is going just watch the world news. The Carbon Reduction Scheme (aka Carbon Tax) is having the desired effect with reductions already being shown and lifestyle changes happening. That is what it was introduced for.

The NBN will be up there with the Snowy Mountains scheme in years to come. And I guarantee the you and I will live long enough to see it. Medical, educational, working hours, work locations. This is all going to change before our very eyes.

More people doing their working hours at home. I can't wait to see the changes.

I can dig up as many figures as you need to prove that this "Guvment" is doing a good job. ( I'll await our Token Institute of Public Affairs man to arrive before I produce more)

Low unemployment.... near record low... lowest interest rates in years... 21 years of growth. 3 x Tripple A ratings. Its the runs on the board Coastal.

The big picture Coastal the big picture.

You know the Poms are abstaining too. Do you know what the actual vote is about or are you only reading the Rags.

This is what I do admire about you Honourable Reefy Son. The way you can immediately speak for so many. You answer for me... you always answer with "We all" and "everyone knows" like you have been annoited the designated speaker.

It's like back in the good old school days when some kid said I am the bus prefect because Sir said.

The NBN will be outdated before its finished being implemented.
It's a multi-billion dollar waste of taxpayer money.

One cant help but generalise about you quigs when you have not once highlighted yoyr disaproval at the amount of corruption that is clearly evident in the current Unions & Labor party. Not once have you highlighted the fact the Australian tax payer funded media network, does not have 1 right wing reporter or announcer on any of its TV or Radio networks. I cant believe that you think that that is ok for 51% of Australians that are right wing voters.

OH ITS THE LEVESON REPORT RELEASE TONIGHT... oh Rupes oh Rupes...

Another EPIC FAIL Quigs style....

12.30am our time...

But there are also some interest from across the Atlantic... hey Rupes.

The publication of the Leveson report is also keenly anticipated in the US, where some politicians remain concerned that Rupert Murdoch's News Corporation may have violated local laws on corruption, reports Lisa O'Carroll.
Jay Rockefeller, chairman of the Senate committee on commerce, science and transportation, wrote to Leveson earlier this year to find out if any of the evidence suggested "unethical" or "illegal business practices".

On Wednesday night Rockefeller said: "While I understand that the main goal of this report is to make policy recommendations, the core of the inquiry remains the illegal and unethical practices of newspapers owned by the News Corporation. I remain deeply concerned that these companies may have violated US laws and injured US citizens.

-------------------------------

But that type of behaviour doesn't go on here in Aus in our Rags does it?

"Victoria Police E-Crime Squad is investigating the allegation that personal details of Victorians were electronically accessed by a media outlet via a confidential political party database without authorisation," she said.

"As the investigation is active and ongoing we are not in a position to comment any further."

In April the Sunday Herald Sun revealed the ALP had ordered an internal probe into the Eleczilla hacking.

Among the high-profile Victorians searched from inside The Age were broadcasters Neil Mitchell and Jon Faine, pollster Gary Morgan and Yarra councillor Stephen Jolly.

No not with Telstra.
If I ever got fox I would probably switch to Telstra for the bundle package.
Phone/Net/Fox. Not worth it for me right now tho as I rarely get time to watch tv anyway.

Living in this small coastal town, I was originally with vtown for many years... then they were taken over by iinet.

I stayed with them up until about 5 years ago I think it was. I had major internet connection problems and telstra just told iinet to go an get farked. I couldn't get any action to fix my problem. It took about 6 days for telstra to even look into it.

I couldn't afford to be down for that length of time anymore. So I am with Bigpond.

But believe it or not it has got cheaper for me over the past couple of years. And Ive gone from 12gb download to 500gb download and it is cheaper then before.

I can't wait for the NBN to hit here. There are so many people nearby that are up the creek with connection and speed. Further away from the thingy.

Quigs do you honestly think it is ok that the Rest of Australia funds your internet speed because of your choice to live so far away from services that are only possible cheaply, through economies of scale? if the answer is yes, I don't know why anybody bothers working up your way. May as well just get the rest of Australia to fund the lifestyles.
