It would be hard enough for any kid coming into a losing team, but getting thrown in at the deep in an unfamiliar position is asking for trouble.

He may have had a game or two there...not sure though, and not sure why Stuart would see even one or two games as a reason to play him there. Sticky really is a terrible coach...and I think this could be a career killing game for Kelly, we may not see him for years if ever again at this rate.

or as Sterling pointed out on 2MMM...... remember when Ivan Cleary left Manu Vatuvei on the field against the Eels a few years ago after those droppy droppy issues that led to so many Eels points. Manu has since moved on to becoming one of the top wingers in the world in either League or Union now. Only time will tell......

does anyone ever remember him playing fullback?

Yes. Played there for Wenty when he first got the call up. Played at fullback for the Ball side and a few games for NYC. Not a totally unfamilar position.

He has been used from the bench and now at fullbck. The only safe option is for the Sharks is to send him back to NYC and play him in a more familiar position and not totally ruin him. Obvious he is far from first grade ready.

it wouldn't matter what sort of form they're in, if there's ever a club that you would play to break that losing drought it's against ours..

Great to see Tim Smith back playing NRL, but OMG Cronulla tonight was an inept performance that is hard to compare. Lucky it was Souths because it would have been a 100. Good luck Tim, you are going to need it.

Misery guts.

They have no line speed, no real defensive structure, poor completion rates and no main point in attack. Beetson, Sterling and Langlands wouldn't help this mob.

Souths didn't look a hell of a lot better.

Completion rates are the biggest area of concern for Parramatta at the moment.

Poor Tim Smith....going to that club, under that coach...hope he's 100% well because that rubbish team and coach could wreck the kid once and for all tbh

He was better off in Queensland...... far away from Northies as possible.

Our biggest problem is attitude.

We cant go into the game thinking the Sharks will under perform.

We havent been playing that well this year, our attack needs to improve.

The one thing I'm confident about is that their record at Toyota is pretty good in recent times.

Their record is good?

They've lost their last six games in a row down there and we are 6 and 2 since 2000.

Completing sets, building pressure and good line speed in defense will be the key aspects against the Sharks.

I always had some time for Tim, but playing under Sticky, that is a real challenge.

The half killer has another project, hopefully he makes little difference in his first game. By the way, I found a 7 that compares with Robson, come on down John Morris
