**OT spoiler Mundine fight**

Fair enough reefy but close enough is not good enough, especially when he carries on about being a supreme being sent by the creator etc

I'd prefer to see a Mundine fight any day over a Green fight but I'm starting to doubt whether he's as good as he says he is

Close enough is not good enough. Sure, but we are talking about World Title fights. You have to give him credit where it is due. He has a soft jaw but he can box. I think he was off balance when he went down last night even though it was a good hook. He was injured aswell. Give him a bit more time. He'll win another title.

Siacca really won every round. Choc was making a good come back in the 2nd round till he got dropped. He was never the same again. He was very off last night.

Siacca faught like Danny Green would. Only difference is that if Green landed on Choc he wouldn't get up.

I know a judge gave it to Choc but in reality he was very, very luck to get one.

I am no Green fan at all but if he landed one on Choc, I doubt he would get up. It would be a stupid fight for him to take aswell. What has Green got? Choc could out box him but I doubt he could knock Green out...

Haha Choc was on the news before and was asked to respond to Green's comments that "I've got something he wants now" ie. an interim title belt

Mundine responded something like "Interim title? What the HELL is THAT, man?" And stated he fights for WORLD titles, not interim belts. Haha Green copped it real good.

Just watching it the highlights again, Mundine definitely threw the better punches, however Siaccas punches seemed to get more......result.

Hi again everyone!

I came in here expecting Choc to get a hiding from you guys but I am very pleasantly surprised to see you blokes are giving him a go.

You can tell the difference between a true Australian sports follower and one who is too immature to get over past some harmless comments made years ago. If it is un-Australian to be outspoken and confident, what is it called to go for a Puerto Rican against a local Champion?

I had to put up with some absolutely disgusting comments from low lifers in Dee Why last night and I cant believe that some comments made in his footy days have people that blindly angry.

He'll be back better for the experience and hopefully will take up the rematch offer.

Best of luck against the Storm, apologies for the sprays leading up to the Saints match and good luck for the rest of the season.

Dee Why is the toilet of the Northern Beaches, if only there was a chain.

It's amazing what can happen to a boxer when he fights someone with some cred and not a Taxi Driver....
I was overjoyed to hear of Mundanes lose....I hate big mouths and He is one...

Mundine is an embarrassment to all Aussies. Sure he has speed and boxing skills but does not have the punch or toughness to be a real world champion. To compare himself with Ali makes me despise him even more. Danny Green on the other hand has conducted himself in a much more dignified manner. Green has shown the toughness and courage required. Let's not forget it is Mundine who will not fight Green. Why? Because after he lost to green he would have nothing to offer fight promoters. He is gone now, he may keep talking it up but he will never regain a world championship.

Speak for yourself

Let's not forget it is Mundine who will not fight Green. Why?

Why should he? Mundine put boxing in Australia back on the map singlehandedly, he had millions of people hoping he would fail and for the most part he's won them over. He was at the top of league and now he's just about at the top of boxing. No other Australian athlete has mastered two sports, so quickly, in a very long time.

Meanwhile you've got Danny Green and Jeff Fenech, a couple of mugs, sticking the boot into him at every opportunity, trying to provoke Mundine into a fight. They know Mundine is their only chance at a real payday. Green is the joke, he needs to get his own gimmick...being the guy who only has a name because he keeps hounding Mundine isnt doing it for him. Mundine knows that he himself is the drawcard, he's the real money ticket, he doesnt need to fight Green to earn a fortune. Green needs Mundine much more than Mundine needs Green. If I was Choc, I wouldnt fight him either.

No doubt Kostya is great internationally and obviously bigger than Mundine but what I'm saying Mundine did is reinvigorate domestic boxing. How many fights has Kostya had at the Sydney Entertainment Centre?
