LOL at Ricky taking credit for success. A bit like Hitler claiming that the Nazis did a good job by eradicating typhoid in Auschwitz by gassing all of the jews.

EDIT: Apologies if that seems OTT.

Just a smidge.

I think it's funny how Ricky looks at how Parramatta is performing and smiles under the assumption that he has had something to do with it. Meanwhile in Canberra the Raiders can perform really well at training yet when it comes together on game day they, up until yesterday, have performed quite poorly. He puts that all down to the players attitudes at Canberra.

I would think that Ricky needs to pay a bit more attention to what is happening in Canberra on game day rather than what Brad is doing for the team at the Eels. Still trying to play smoke and mirrors.

as usual he is more worried about getting a fat juicy headline with his name in it than what the article might say

'Experience origin/test players' are only interested in money and how often do they move clubs anyway? Their current clubs are always desperate to retain them.

I do recall that with the signing of RS , there was an expectation that the likes of Bird and Farah were on the Eels radar.
Never happened , never was gonna happen, was it

i saw a thing with farrah the other day where he said something along the lines of strongly considering coming to parra to be coached by stuart.

They didn't leave their current clubs though did they?

Unfortunately for Canberra, the Tedesco signing is a talent downgrade at the position.
Not knocking tedesco, nor the Raiders for signing him, but he needs to be the first signing and others must follow to actually provide talent upgrades in their respective positions on the paddock.

Milford is a star, Tedesco is just a first grade fullback - second coming of Wade Mckinnon or something like that.

Agree. They seek to be paying origin coin for a kid who's played well in a dozen games

Now Proctor has signed - add Ennis and Tedesco - that makes a decent side next year. Sticky in with a big chance of winning two games in a row!

Milford might turn out to be a better player than Tedesco but he isn't a better fullback.

In which alternate reality is Tedesco a better fullback?

Tedesco may indeed turn out to be a better fullback, but as yet the balance is well in Milfords favour. Milford will surely be a half from next season onwards, but his FB work surpasses Tedescos offerings.
