How about this for a stat. Last year we only lost to one team that made the top 8 all year; the Brons in round 1. If the Funs win tomorrow we will only have lost to one team in the top 6 this year; the Storm in round 1.

top 8 starting to really take shape now

Sharks & Dolphins really showing they were pretenders all along this year - May still make the 8 but they are making up numbers

Broncos very lucky Dolphins real form continues - they could have been 6 points off the 8 and that's them done for 2024.

Cows & Manly doing enough to justify a top 8 finish this year - but both wont be troubling the Penrith or Melbourne.

Chooks & Dogs are on par with each other - Chooks can be very good in attack when on a roll, but also give up points too easily, Dogs defence is outstanding compared to previous years, granted they put on a score this weekend, but i cannot see them racking up points like that against Penrith & Melbourne
