If the rumours are true West Tigers gave him a three year deal worth $1.3 million. I don’t know what our offer was but it wasn’t close apparently. Money Was the reason. We have missed him that’s for sure.

Turuva just a terrific player, full of energy, does the hard yards, safe under the high ball despite his lack of size, good finisher would have been worth going that little extra to retain him in my opinion. Didn’t understand it at the time, don’t understand it now.

Yep. Even the most plain and mediocre fringe NRL player generally looks a clear 'Class Above' when they play Cup.

Agreed 100%. Everyone have a good look at the NSW Cup highlights of the 58 nil thrashing. The opposition defence was woeful, barely park footy stuff. Hard to believe some of them are on contracts and banking money for it.
