Well you sorted the lime splices out and they won the minor premiership.

Fitzy is getting down and dirty. A bit of Neanderthal about him at the right time.

Nico playing at near optimum.

Ill be honest, I wasn’t feeling the love until last night.

The storm aren’t the same. Like they died and have come back. They are not the indomitable powerhouse of yesteryear.

Their backline is suspicious.
Watching the game back now. Nicho just scored. The defence we put up was unreal. Making no metres getting bashed. Not flinching on bad errors just backing the defence. Same as last week. We had a 5 minute window of momentum and we blitz'd it.

I think we are the fittest we have been under Fitz. This is our 4th finals campaign. We have done Melbourne in the finals before and lost. We have won down there. We are hungry as f**k in my opinion. I think we are the team who wants it the most. The 7.50 just feeds into it. If somehow we pull a win out vs Melbourne I love our chances because Panthers and Broncos will kill each other 2 days later. This isn't the Sharks of old who limped in or had players in/out. We lose Hazo but bring in Kaufusi who has 100 plus games, gf experience. It is there if they keep this intensity up and the fact we f**ked around all year and started this game of levels makes me think they have 2 more good ones left in the tank.

Given AFL GF weekend I assume wasn’t cheap either
hotel at the casino was $450. Not ideal but I paid like 350+ for the gosford game when I stayed at terrigal. Honestly flights weren't so bad. I guess flights from Sydney aren't super busy as no swans and flying home saturday not sticking around for the afl made it cheaper. I'll be back home around lunch in the shire saturday.

Thought it was risky doing a 9 something flight but I always sit around the next day wanting to get home anyway because my body clock gets me up around that 5-6 window.

Panthers let in nearly 30 points today… only 1 team is defending at the moment.
Nate said too many were players were watching the clock.

What Ivan will be slightly unnerved by is the lack of continuity of dominance into the second half.

They were always going to win it, just a question of the scoreline. And it goes back to the brains trust and preparation.

I think you could be peaking at exactly the right time. It was solid last night.

Stuck to process, it’s good to have players listening. Then it comes down to performances.

You’ll be tight against the storm. They are dangerous, you’ll have to play the long game and snuff out their opportunities.

There were some brain snaps by the raiders. You won’t have that luxury.

But you have a tough side. From last night, you just wouldn’t back off. They were starting to panic a bit.

You broke their hearts and I thought, geez these sharks, I thought they were making up the numbers but they are willing.

Anyway, the genie is out of the bottle!

Broncos have one player.
Since Reece got back hes carried them to the top 4.
He singlehandedly got them the win last week after raiders had it won twice.

We need him to blow pennies open for a broncs win and then do his hammy in the 79th minutes.

He has those odd shockers and the toilet joke was a bit off for the humour.

I laughed at him more than the joke.

They let the foot off the the throat somewhat in the 2nd. Surprised Cleary kept some of their big names on the field towards the end, with Martin copping an injury late. Maybe they used up their interchanges.

The second half they went through the motions. I found myself zoning out to be honest, almost they were bored and thinking about next week.
Shame they aren’t playing Friday and us Saturday, not only for the turn around, but I can see Penrith putting a clinic on up North. Sharks could take a lot from that - the Riff can do it, so should we.
I still say we should get the job done regardless.

Yes.

I thought Ivan kept them out there for strategic health and fitness reasons, give them some harder D training against a dogs outfit with nothing to lose.

If Martin is out, then the price was too high, not that I would have penciled him in for an early shower before other more precious players.

If we win we get an extra two days rest which could be huge. NRL did the right thing going Saturday game a miss to not clash with the AFL imo
