The storm don’t get it wrong often .the play near the end for the feild goal was a bad set up .a straight pass to the kicker he gets a clear shot

What about when Parra where up 24-18 and Mahoney doesn give one's an open shot for field goal and goes blind side. Dope.
His defense was also bad.....

Congrats @hindy111 that was high intensity. Imagine getting beat by Ray Stone.

He did his ACL also.

I still felt like the Storm where superior and far more dangerous. What did a neutral observer think? Papali'i is a poor defender out wide so once Matterson and Marata is back it solves that. Mahoneys defense is a bit of a worry. Sides are targeting him. And Waqa who look ed great on the wing then dropped 3 uncontested bombs straight. He is a centre.

However atleast we fought back multiple times to get the win. It was a great game of footy and I feel the best one so far this season.

Storm looked more clinical but Eels effort kept them in it. Desire beat skill for me. Look at Lane's charge down for an example.

Shame he died for that win.

Cracking game.

For me I thought the Eels looked on top, but there was always a feeling that Hughes/Munster/Paps (ended up being Smith) would produce something and come over the top. Really gutsy by the Eels.

What do Parra fans think of Moses? His constant berating of his teammates makes him look like a bit of a tosser.

I felt Storm looked the better side. We hung in and got a few lucky tries. They had a few out but so did we. Our defense improves a lot with Matto,Marata. Amd so does go forward with Sivo. Young Russel will be back also but not going to improve them much.

Moses spray on Mahoney was deserved. He was set up perfectly for the field goal and Reed goes the blind side and ball goes into touch. Overall Reed had a poor game. Missed tackles, crucial error and went the wrong way a few times.

Gutherson isn't elite but he is I feel the best defensive fullback in the competition or one of.

I loved when Waqa just charged at Papaenhuzen for the try.

Big Nelson is a grub also. Cheap shot.

Anyhows that's 3 times in a row Eels have beaten Storm. A rare feat.

You could tell Storm like Roosters have a few guys underdone

Grant being out was huge

Pretty good Saturday of footy yesterday. 3 very enjoyable games. I loved the shot of Moses going through all the emotions from the time the ball left his foot until Ray Stone slammed it down. I'm no Moses fan, but it captured everything I love about Rugby League.

Raiders comeback was great fun to watch too.

It will probably lose something knowing the result, but still worth rewatching I think. The last play of the game was perfect in the context of the game.

We play both teams in the next month.
I like to see how both are travelling with their makeshift spines

Schoupp replaces Okunbor. The latter was very slow last week. Didn't have a great game in the air either.

But still with Naden at centre on the team list.

I didn't see the Parra, Storm game but how was Stone not in front of the kicker?
Only seen the highlights and if Stone was onside he certainly has a turn of speed.

Live I thought he had to be offside, but the replay showed he was fine. It was a huge effort for him to make that play. 999 times out of 1000 it goes unrewarded and unnoticed. Good to see it pay off in this case.
