It is interesting you say that I was reading the Warriors forum and Egan is one of the few who escapes criticism from there fans.

On one of the Sharks tries yesterday I noticed Egan chasing the runaway Sharks winger, never gonna catch him but never gave up the chase. Says a lot about his character. The early comparisons to Cameron Smith May have been premature but he is a decent player.

My initial question will be whether is it is the Hook, ‘just throw it to the big guy’ game plan or the Cleary ‘let’s find varied ways to get him involved’ game plan.

If the coach (whoever it is) can follow the second approach and the halves can execute it, they will rightly be lauded.

I still think on their day Parra can beat one of Storm or us (particularly Storm if they don’t have Welch) but agree it is hard to see them doing it three weeks in a row.

This sounds arrogant as well but watching this Bulldogs team song after probably their best victory in 5 years and maybe 3/4 blokes are really losing their mind in the song and two are JAC/Burton who are just competitors. Our entire room is going mental after every single win, despite clocking the most successful 3 years from a team in the NRL era. I’m happy for the Dogs but the difference in attitude is why we are a champion team.

Not ideal for the Eels, but it is what it is. The Bulldogs were red hot and fully deserved there win.

I was cooking a fine roast dinner so didn’t see all the game, the Bulldogs from what I saw were really up for it.

Pangai-Junior at his aggressive best and masterclass from Matt Burton. I’m sure there were others obviously but well done to the Dog# it’s been coming.
