Jnr knocked it in in the in goals.....Parra got a lot of good calls but probably the correct but still.

RCG won them the game single handed.

But it is round one. Good to just get 2 points even as ugly as it was.

No side looked anywhere near as good as Pe nith in defense or even across the park. They'd of beaten anyone and that's without Nathan.

But its a long season.

My fear with Eels is the ship will get old and sink. BA will take the crew down. New coach and to many old guys. Hope I am wrong but not much confidence in the club as far as the future goes after this season. I think it will be 3 or 4 yrs of pain.

Burtons had some good kicks..but has been pretty average otherwise.
His passing and running have been poor and his defence has been shocking. Missed 2 or 3 tackles that have lead to lime breaks.

The way he fell he was knocked out, didn't brace at all.

I think moved his arm ato soften it a bit before he hit the ground then spread hos arms and legs wide after, looked fishy to me, kikau will have to be careful.

Multiple backs off the field in every game besides ours so far. Dogs down two centres right now burns ruled out completely by nrl doc, Naden likely not coming back, you gotta have some utility value on the bench these days, a genuine utility, outside back or a backrower that can play centre. The independent doc makes it even more crucial now.

He's a running 6 playing 7. Going to take a awhile

He is playing 6 the problem is he has another 6 playing halfback and a pretty average side around them. He is going to be a great player and the dogs will be a better side next year but this year they are still going to suck and that will make it harder for him.
