Totally right.

Its underestimated how much damage covid did to the Warriors. It completely destroyed their recruitment. They are definately owed a lot by the NRL. Hoping things turn around for them but it will be a long process for them.

I watched their ball team today, They will go into Flegg next year. So a few years of that and they will be right up there again

Raiders v sharks
Raiders started well keeping the ball around the middle of the ruck making big ground. Then they started going side to side the sharks come back

Did anyone notice with the Bulldogs 2nd Left hand edge run away try (Fox #2) that Charlie Staines at fullback was almost jogging back instead of hustling to get closer?

I know I am classed as an Edwards sceptic, but if Dylan was in a similar position he hustles to get closer and probably saves that try.

Was also nice to see former Panthers heavily featured.

I did.

Granted he got hammered the previous tackle by Mahoney but he wasn't showing much of an injury after the Dogs scored. Just looked a bit tired. I've seen players suffer far worse and put in a better effort.

It was a bad look for Charlie but the whole team was disgraceful yesterday. They really are a broken club.

In his defence, in those oppressive conditions, moments after a play where he was hammered I don’t think he had too much oxygen in his lungs. He was spent.

My complete unfounded guess is that Charlie has bung hammies and is afraid to open up a full quick stride.

After his debut games in 2020 and against Melb in early 2021 did he ever once try to show his speed again in a Panther jumper?

Staines having some terrible moments so far.

Just shows you what a bad environment can do to a player. It's not like the Tigers have the worst squad in the competition. But they are 100% the worst team.
