Another sin bin for what? This game lost the plot.. I have a feeling an agenda at play here
We’re killing the game, we really are.

The Victor Radley sin bin this afternoon was farcical, this one even worse. Seriously the NRL are destroying the fabric of the game, no common sense.

I couldn't believe the Radley one and this one he just fell with him. Players will go to Union, who would put up with this shit?

I agree with the Victor Radley sin binning. There was no shoulder contact to the head, but he led with his forehead into the face of a player. That's very dangerous.

Seriously I understand the whole OH & S environment we now have to abide by but NRL is a tough contact sport and the minute our games lawmakers decided tackling too hard was no longer legal was the moment we will ultimately see the decline in the very fabric of what makes our game so special. Players are now literally being sent to the sin bin because they tackled too hard, intent to hit someone hard, even when you miss you can potentially be sent to the sin bin. All the while we are going through this enforced crackdown on contact with the head, we no longer enforce the basics, the simple things like being in front of the kicker from any restart, the flop is now virtually accepted as normal, the player playing the ball gets pinged for not being upright enough despite two or three more defenders still holding and wrestling the guy who is just trying to get a quick play the ball.

I felt for the Warriors last night, the ref allowed the Storm to get of there line at an insane speed Without every pining them, other than a couple of late square ups when the game was over.

You can tackle as hard as you want as long as there isn't contact with the head or any other illegal action.

We saw the bone rattling tackle on Justin Ollam the other week. Nothing illegal about it. That's fair play. Great tackle.

I’m not sure, the officials seem to be erring on the side of caution hence the ’huge’ hits somehow or another end up in a penalty. I thought last night Dylan Walker was hard done by in his being in the end of a sin binning.

Huge hits are not penalised. The huge hit I mentioned on Olam, was it penalised? All the huge hits Olam himself does, are they penalised?

Only illegal acts are penalised. Dylan Walker slammed a players head into the ground, knocking him out.

I predicted years ago, that if they cleaned the game up, the game would explode in popularity, and it has. Crowd numbers and tv ratings have soared. Not only that, the paticipation rate will go up. There's a lot of talented kids who will now decide to play rugby league instead of other sports. That's great! That means in future, the standard of football will be unbelievable.

However, I would agree with @Kilkenny that referees err on the side of caution too much at times. For example:

Christian Welch had a Warriors player running at speed towards him who slipped at the last millisecond before contact. The players level dropped dramatically and suddenly. Welch was aiming for the players midriff but his arm ended up brushing over the players head. Originally the referee gave a penalty, which was overturned on a captains challenge . That shouldn't be a penalty even if he'd made contact. The referee should stop the way they do in rugby union and do a quick investigation and ask some questions. Was it careless or was there any intent? No. Welch was aiming for the midriff. Was there mitigating circumstances. Yes, the players level dropped dramatically. Was there time for Welch to readjust? No there wasn't. Therefore no penalty.

Picking Nicho Hynes at either 6 or 7 is a risk. There's immense pressure in origin and Nicho is not accustomed to it, and it may crush him.

He should come off the bench, where there will be less pressure on him, and he will get a chance to slowly adapt to it.

What? He's currently the form player of the entire comp. It's madness if he isn't the 6.

The Chad like Mitch Pearce should be giving half his pay cheque to James Maloney.

Jimmy carrying both to a premiership really increased their value and extended their careers.
