I have supported the Panthers since I was a five year old in Cambridge Park in 1966. You learn to take the good with the bad. It's no use judging a teams performance week to week. You really need 4 to 5 or so (?) weeks to get a good indication of performance. If you are judging a team from week to week you are only a fair weather supporter. (I'm not getting into the "True Fan" crap) As the Ent said, "Don't be hasty".

I reguarly watch Bloke in a bar podcast on U Tube. It's a good listen. One of the blokes said tonight. Critta had a poor game.......(I agree) but to write him off completely by watching one game they all agreed as said No. because Critta is traditionally a big moment, big game player. .......

As you said Tom don't be too nasty. The sample size is too small.

I still have great hopes for Kenny and Luke in combination if the can remain injury free.

I think Soni will rip through those triring forwards, like a knife goes through cold butter.

Agree. Crighton has a poor game but he would need atleast half a season to learn fullback.
I think he is a very good player but also overated by some. He has played in a very dominant football side. How would someone like Bradman Best look in Penrith?

Only a trial but had a read on The Kennel. Many seemed dissapointed in Mahoney and Burton.

Ciraldo is meant to be the next super coach. Yet seems to rate Haze Perham. I've seen him at the eels and he is a mistake machine. It made me question Ciraldo tbh. I see nothing in Haze Perham. Time will tell.

I have never been convinced on Perham either. In my limited viewing on him.
Mahoney will be ok for them. An experienced halfback is what that side needs. It would help Burton immensely.
We now get to see how Ciraldo handles the pressure.

Parra v storm
Tight game parra just on top
A few tweaks to the rules seems to have opened the game a quicker it up

Dumb footy by both sides.

Pushing dumb passes everywhere.

The team which completes their remaining sets wins.

To be expected round 1 .i always say the ladder means nothing to round 7

I'd agree fit most teams but the Storm have never started like this.

They may get the win still but they are usually in full grind mode from the first second of their season

Honestly don't think you'll get many objections to this thought. The majority of Panther fans rate the hell out of him.

Problem is where you play him in our team? He's an out and out 80 minute Lock. And we've already got the best in the business.

He reportedly is only being paid scraps at the Eels. Good luck hanging onto him in 2025.
