Dugan has been selected on the wing for Cronulla this week. That would make him the highest paid winger in the comp. Dugan told us that he was an elite player and that he wanted elite fullback money. Well he certainly go elite winger money. Not resigning Dugan was a masterstroke.

Very thankful to him for giving his all the the dragons but definitely agree. Given his demands it was absolutely right to let him go.

Wouldn't mind him playing centre for us right now (on centre money) but he chased the big bucks and didn't get fullback anyway

Watching Penrith & Souths running the ball out from their own line is a joy to behold.
They run into brick walls until they put a dent in them and then they keep aiming at the week spots.
They run with ferocity and when they bust the line they invariably get quick play the balls and then their teams just have support all over the place.
Other top teams are also great to watch as they poor through defensive holes with plenty of options and support players.
In fact other teams down the ladder do it better than what we do.
We run hard at the line for a few plays and then we lope along as if the opposition will just get out of our way or our forwards double around and look back towards our own line looking for a support player.
The sad part is other than Dufty and to a lesser degree Widdop there is no one in our side that can support Frizz when he makes a break because the entire team is way too slow as evidenced yesterday.
By the 3/4 mark of the season our fearsome forwards have become pop gun and our backs even more pedestrian than they were at the start of the season.
Maybe we spend way too much time in the gym doing weights etc and we have become muscle bound oafs.

Couldn’t agree more we need more speed nightingale has been great for us but now just not enough speed anymore now that parra has signed Ferguson it seems blacklocks cousin is on the outer he’s been dropped one thing frenchies got is speed to burn

Cant let it pass withou commenting the Donkeys play the Cowboys tonight and as per usual Brisbane have had their normal 7 day turn around whilst Cowboys have had 5......and they call it a draw.....laughable

I agree....if only we had the ability to play for the full 80 mins like the Cowboys did tonight.....they went within a whisker of doing it last week against The Roosters....the character and heart tbey showed tonight does not reflect the position they are on the ladder

I know we beat them a few weeks ago but I really get the feeling they'd wipe the floor with us if we played them tomorrow. Cheers Mary.

Desperately need a new rule in the NRL. If Cody Walker steps off the mark to play the ball any player can kneecap him.

Had to laugh at Souths diving. No one is surprised, other than the referees. Cook, Reynolds and SBurgess playing injured.

Poor effort by the Roosters. Backline with Burns, Hunt, Kennar and Fuimaono was a hot mess and they barely managed to take advantage. Too many errors in key spots.

Merkin referee, try refereeing the ruck for us like that. Nice way to keep Warriors in the 8 though.

Must've read my mind. Go figure. PS. Souths would have eaten us for breakfast. Same goes for the Warriors. I don't gamble but I predicted the Roosters early on in the season.
