After a shaky start to the year he's had a couple of reasonable performances in recent weeks. Still does Rhys Wesser things - backs up the middle, strong kick returns and can hit a hole at pace. But he's past his best and like a few of our current crop his good games are getting rarer and rarer. We should be looking elsewhere.

This is my major concern. Wesser is significantly better than McKinnon but I thought McKinnon would be a great option when we signed him.

You've got plenty of depth fullbacks. You need a top-liner.

Brown, McKinnon, Reddy can all play fullback. Hell, even Beau Ryan can play there if you get really desperate. I don't see what you'd gain buying an over-the-hill depth fullback for one season.

Shannon Gallant's off-contract at the end of this season, and I can't see his contract being renewed. You've gotta love the mighty mouse. Then again, Sheens didn't rate him. But his positioning is good, kick returns are amazing and he has plenty of pace. If you're going to sign Wesser, you might as well sign Gallant and save yourselves 100K

Stats aren't everything, but Beau was in terrific form when he wore the #1 for a time last year, up until the game against the Roosters where he fluffed a couple of bombs and lost all his confidence. Averaged something like 160 metres running the ball and supported up the middle well, bagging a couple of tries. I'd prefer Brown, as I think he's safer under the high ball, but Ryan I can live with.

Wesser in my opinion wouldn't be a bad signing. He is more of a proven fullback then Reddy, Brown and Ryan put together.
I am still pretty confused as to why we have let both Moltzen and Mckinnon go.
I don't like the rumour of moving Benji to fullback, would be worse then signing Shannon McDonnel.

We have two great young fullbacks.
Jake Mullaney, for some reason has not got a shot yet, which has confused me. He has been awesome for an under performing Balman side in the NSW cup.
Im hoping they don't do the same to James Tedesco, this kid has Billy Slater written all over him! Would love to see him get a game next year.
