Yep, you heard it right, Captain Positive has called it!

Get the razors and pitchforks out, its over.

I was at Suncorp Stadium for every minute of the 71-6 arse reaming in 07, and I think I'm feeling worse right now than I did then :(

Unlike then, I can't see much to look forward to, the only thing I can hold onto at the moment is Aku. Boy I hope we make some super signings in the next 2-3 months.

Go ahead - unleash the fury!

Oh and I think Dureau has officially self-stamped his own papers as 'never for first grade EVER again' after today. Though this isn't a Dureau thread so don't go hammering him in here, no doubt the 4357328947th Dureau thread will be started up at some point :p

Just needed to get that off my chest!

cant flame the truth Serc, been a long time reader of these forums and i can safely say that our season is well and truly over as well.

So much so that i don't think i could personally sit through another performance like today's. Take away 3 tries that the useless soft c*ck Dureau is personally responsible for and we win a much needed game, Ciraldo needs to go as well , Useless doesnt even come close to how i feel about these 2.

Why we carried Ciraldo on the bench for 10 minutes of game time is a joke, where was Edwards?, How they can keep bringing back that joke of a number 7 is beyond me.

I still cant believe i gave up 4 hrs overtime and raced home from work to watch that pathetic crap

Could be worse tho??

The Newcastle Knights are pleased to announce the signing of current Cronulla Sharks winger Luke Covell on a two year deal.

Covell 29, is a former New Zealand international who has played 140 games for both Wests Tigers & Cronulla clubs respectively.

"Luke comes to the club with alot of experience and will be a strike weapon out wide" Newcastle coach Rick Stone said in a brief statement.

"He also is one of the best goal kickers in the game and will relieve Kurt of the duties in 2011"

"We are happy to have Luke here in 2011, and also glad one of our aims for a priority signing has been successful"

yes it was a joke, but Roopy you are deadset wrong. The only way the " kids" will get a run is if our top 13 are all out injured.

If any " kids " where gonna get a run they would have had a few by now.

Lets see, Edwards? should have debuted weeks ago when everyone was calling for our forwards heads. It took what 10 games for Mika to get a run and if it wasnt for injuries he probably wouldn't have even got it.

while we have McDonnell, Ndaira, Wes, Lulia, Ciraldo on our books and not injured thats all we will see in 1st grade. Deadset Stone and Co must be on some of Wicksy's gear if they cant see those 5 among others need to go immediately

didnt see the tackle but sounds like lulia will be suspended?

Also heard Wes tripped a player that went unnoticed, this may also get picked up.

Hopefully we see someone fresh in the backline (or pack for that matter)

Both soft as sh*t and will both be in first grade next week - unfortunately.

Im probably being a little harsh on Wes he had a decent game today, only one of the players who shouldnt be there that actually stepped up but on past performances he just aint good or consistent enough.

My pitchfork is out and I think Scotty could do with the razor blades. He stood out today, for all the wrong reasons.

 It took me a while to decide whether to laugh or cry, but laughing is a much better option. We are a joke and it's a shame that the shining light this year in Aku is deadset the only bloke having a dig. Mullo and Wes at least looked like they were trying today, but the rest of them should come out and publicly apologise for that crap they dished up today. They talked the talk in the papers all week, saying the season was on the line. Well, it was fellas and you couldn't even get yourselves up for one performance in front of YOUR OWN PHUCKING SUPPORTERS.

They should all be ashamed of themselves. Anyone remember the 50-0 smacking Parra dished up to us in 05? It could be something similar next week ...

Only if Scotty is defending out in the centres , if he actually gets the hook it will only be 20 - 0

Our forward pack is absolutely pathetic. No leg-drive whatsoever, they run up to the line and surrender like a pillow. What the f**k.

Taufua and Tolar are specialists at it.

The worst thing is they KNOW they can't make any metres. They have no confidence whatsoever.

That is why when the opposition have a finger on us they sit there wriggling on the ground playing for a penalty instead of getting a quick the play the ball and charging at the line. They're lazy, and they are trying to rely on free rides up the field. It's so frustrating to watch.
