I hope for something like this....

1- Daniel Abraham
2- Riley Brown
3- Danny Buderus
4- George Carmont
5- Brian Carney
6- Dustin Cooper
7- Luke Davico
8- Kurt Gidley
9- Matt Gidley
10- Andrew Johns
11- Tom Learoyd-Lahrs
12- Jarrod Mullen
13- Clint Newton
14- Luke Quigley
15- Anthony Quinn
16- Kirk Reynoldson
17- Trent Salkeld
18- David Seage
19- Steve Simpson
20- Craig Smith
21- Kade Snowden
22- Brad Tighe
23- Milton Thaiday
24- Daniel Tolar
25- Adam Woolnough

I've added the mid season signings plus who i think we will sign (with Perry's highly likely departure i'd like to see us young Tom Learoyd-Lahrs and get Smith to go another year) I've also dropped out who i think we will release and who will be signed by other clubs.

From that 25 i'd like to see a side of....

1- Dustin Cooper
2- Brian Carney
3- Matt Gidley
4- Kurt Gidley
5- Milton Thaiday
6- Jarrod Mullen
7- Andrew Johns (c)
8- Craig Smith
9- Danny Buderus
10- Luke Davico
11- Steve Simpson
12- Clint Newton
13- Daniel Abraham

14- Adam Woolnough
15- Riley Brown
16- Kirk Reynoldson
17- Tom Learoyd-Lahrs

Perhaps i'm been a bit optimistic thinking we would approach Tom but he has a huge future, apparently his back is fine now. A 115kg prop who can run the 100 metres faster then most of the bronco backline is worth looking at if you ask me. Qld coach might be able to snare him if were smart enough.

Just a post from a guy who watches alot of ESL....

If Knights get Carney and Johns stays on the field HELL-O permiship ring...!

The rumours about Dumas getting out of the club are getting alot stronger now, expect Knights or UTC with Souths also a dark horse

Perhaps i should replace Learoyd-Lahrs with Dumas.

Yep - hasn't signed yet. There was also talks of the raiders signing him, but I don't know if there's any truth to that.

Just a few things from that team...

We would have a great defensive backline. Cooper is as safe as a house back at fullback and has alot of guts. Carney is a world class defender and the gidley brothers are good one on one tacklers. Milton would be alot better defending on the wing then he would at fullback.

A great attacking backline. Cooper gives me the impression that if was sniffing around behind the rucks Johns could put him in some holes, kind of like he does with Minichiello in Origin. Milton is looking more and more like Matty Bowen, he could be a sensation with a little more experience. Carney will not let anyone down, he is a freak....the best winger in the world by far. Our centres while not been the best atacking players are players capable of giving our strike wingers plenty of quality ball. This could be a 60 try backline.

The halves and hooker. 2 of the worlds top 3 players and a kid who will find himself in that group in a couple of years. We probally will have the best 6,7 and 9 combo in the comp. I think it's a combo that is capable of winning the comp.

Awesome front row rotation. Smith and Davico although quite old have the potential to be a dominant front row. Throw in Wooly and Perry/ front row signing or tolar and we have a match winning front row.

World class backrow Look at the names in there, all devastating ball runners and workhorses in defense. Most of them can play prop too.

Deadset if we can keep that side on the field we are a top 4 team.

With confirmation yesterday that people involved with the club read this forum, listen to me carefully...do everything humanly possible to eradicate the huge injury toll!

Yeah a pretty good looking side RABK. I'm still not sold on Dustin Cooper yet so I might prefer to see Seage there.

Also I hope we could find a better option at centre than Matt Gidley. I know he's been a great player for us over the years, and I'd love to see him return to that sort of form, but my gut tells me that his best footy's well and truly behind him. However I do hope he proves me wrong.

If you want to keep it defensive Cooper to centre and Seage at the back. I'm the opposite of you snapper - i'm not sold on Seage yet. He's being talked up, but he hasnt done a lot to impress me lately.

Cooper has the size and strength to play centre, and from what i've seen his passing game goes alright as well...

Cooper and Kids in the centres - both have a great kick chase, both have size and strength, and would be relentless in attack. Kidley particularly would add another dimension to our attack with his passing game out towards the wing.

Theres is no way Hages would drop Matt Gidley as he is a $260,000 centre.
