Hmm... The Village certainly wasn't all it was cracked up to be, but I still thought it was ok.

Most overrated film that I saw this year, was probably Dickie Roberts or Catwoman.

no the village was good and it wasnt a horror movie like it was meant to be, it should be something studied in HSC english because what it had to say was pretty good. van helsing is the worst this year.

Spider Man 2 (f**ken borefest just like the first one)
Dawn of the Dead (the original shits all over this piece of crap and where the f**k was the gore)

F*cking Ay! Battle Royale is one of my fav movies ever.

I really enjoyed the remake of dawn of the dead. Brilliantly shot, i thought it was actually better than the original.

well the WORST I've seen this year was some stupid movie with one of the wrestler dudes in it that I was forced to see - can't remember what it was called but I fell asleep

but the most overrated I saw (haven't seen all that many) was probably the new harry potter - they picked the best book of the series and made the worst movie yet

I love it.

I think you have to have a certain level of maturity and worldliness to appreciate it. Travelling a lot to different time zones helps as well.

It's not meant to be patronising, just that certain films suit certain people better than others.
