Start of an over, HAH just went 4,2,2 against Raza Hasan (first class average of 28). Raza Hasan is a spinner! sweep, sweep, cut. I think the 1 on 1 work he did with Murali might just have led him to the resurrection of his test career.

The majority of his runs have come from the sweep. That is something he never used to do.

Wonder what more he will have to do to get a gig ahead of Lyon. They wont promote him to No 1 spinner on one hit out but it does show what we already knew, he is our best prospect.

If they play 2 spinners it'll give him the chance to leap frog Lyon..

It's a shame this game didn't have first class status - Doolan could have finally moved ahead of his current average of 1 century per year.

I expect nothing from him..... But that's because I subscribe to the crazy theory that a guy who managed just 6 first class centuries in 6 years (avg 37) probably hasn't got what it takes at test level.

That's a good point

He seems to have the concentration span to get a ton once a season, rest of the time would suggest he doesn't have the mental strength to keep at it or be consistant. Sean Marsh is another one

Just looking at that line up in the second innings, looks like it was clearly experimental. The guys who did well in the first dig didn't get a bat in the second.

Wouldn't read too much into it.
