You mean the truth doesn't conform to your own prejudices.
did you even click on the link?

Sorry but a square peg doesnt fit into a round hole.

The Rorters great management can convince their entire roster to play for less dollars ( some hundreds of thousands less ) .....but they just can't manage to get any 3rd parties. ......okie dokie  ( nearly no 3rd parties for the Premiers, with Tedesco, Cordner, Keary etc etc ) lousy management if you ask me.

In turn obviously the Storm with the "greatest coach of the modern era" has to rely on a massive 3rd party advantage to maintain theirs....okie dokie then.

The clubs arent allowed to arrange 3rd party deals. So you’ve just vindicated the roosters As far as 3rd parties are concerned.
The article also says
“ The Roosters had just $69,000 worth of private sector TPAs, however the likes of Cooper Cronk and James Tedesco benefited from additional whole of game sponsorship which wasn't included in the team-by-team breakdown.“. Strange you didn’t draw attention to that part. Given you are in the know can you tell us how much that is worth?
Your rooster obsession is flattering. Also
interesting to see your knights have abandoned their juniors for big name signings.

Serious question Cockosh, Regardless of whatever is or isn't happening at the Roosters, do you believe clubs are not arranging TPA's for players? Whether they are "allowed" to under the rules is irrelevant.

Considering we're a club digging itself out of a massive hole 18 out of our 30 man roster are juniors, with another 3 next year which will make it 2/3 of the roster.

Of course they are and of course we are. To what extent they do and to what extent any club rorts the cap is pure speculation. It’s very easy to use facts selectively to suit your narrative as Knight Vision does.

agreed, until it becomes so abundantly clear that only the most one eyed of supporters could deny something doesnt add up.
So I’m not the only one questioning knights ability to just keep buying big name players at will? You too? Pearce, Ponga, Klemmer, McCullough, Greem, Guerra Etc. And seemingly with minimal tpas. It doesn’t add up does it

Newcastle Knights warmed up for their round one showdown against the Warriors in a fortnight with a 10 try demolition of a depleted Sydney Roosters at Gosford on Saturday night.

After a scoreless opening 20 minute period, the Knights ran riot scoring seven second half tries to over-run their out-classed opponents in a 58-0 romp.

The Roosters opted to rest their entire World Club Challenge squad and only had four players, Matt Ikuvalu, Drew Hutchison, Lachlan Lam and Poasa Faamausili, with NRL experience in their squad.

But they served it up to the Knights in the opening 20 minutes with the Newcastle defence vulnerable at times on both edges as the Roosters looked to capitalise on some cheap possession via mistakes from Kurt Mann and Lachlan Fitzgibbon.

Only some good scrambling defence kept the Roosters out.

And the Rorters does add up? hehehehe

Klemmer - JWH
Ponga - Tedesco
Pearce- Keary
Guerra - Aubusson

Green - for 6 games .....versus SBW
McCullough- 50% paid for by Broncos.

Now go and compare the rest of the rosters.

Fitzgibbon - Cordner
Sione - Crichton
Brailly - Friend
Hunt - Hall
Lee - Tupou
Tuala - Manu
Barnett - Radley
Toa - Morris

Etc etc etc etc......all of them stayed at the Rorters for well below their market value.....should have gone to the Saints.

I presume Flanagan joined for a pie and a coke? Dito the rest of the squad.

I think there’ll be a few Broncos execs who’ll soon suddenly decide to join Andrew Gee on his Hide and seek world record attempt....

This could end wonderfully! The Broncos and Isaac Moses could be busted for it with a bit of luck. And I’d argue this is the perfect example to show that the players aren’t innocent either - clearly TPJ knew there was something wrong with the deals, or why raise it now?

Klemmer, Ponga and Pearce are getting overs compared to the roosters you have them against as your club panic buys to get them out of the hole they dug for themselves. Combined they take up more than a third of your cap. Like you I’m speculating Without proof but it’s close enough.
You bought Guerra as a QLD rep. Aubo never played rep footy and is in twilight of his career. Are you really comparing their value?
Where are the saifitis in your emoji fest? Arguably your best player this year. Playing for a pie and a coke?
