Absolutely. This was done for the club not individual reasons.

We no longer wish to suffer in mediocrity.

Sacked Griffin, finally. One tick.

Minus points for not doing at the end of the 2017 season.

Sacking Hook? Yes. Although it should have happened 12 months ago rather than his extension.

The Ivan Cleary situation has been poorly handled though. But depenfing on the story you believe theres a chance Gus has not been part of that.

Did he need to be sacked - greater majority will say yes

Timing?? - well we will know after this weeks game. Let the players tell us if the timing was right.

You have to be more specific, as I don't believe Gould wanted to sack him now or maybe at all, but that his hand was forced.

Yes it is a good thing Griffin is gone and gone before the finals, as it gives us a chance to turn our form around.

Yes but the timing was wrong.
It should have been done after our year finishes. He also shouldn't have had 2 years left on his contract.

Either should have been done 2 months ago or at the end of the year, assuming we had crashed out early in the finals under Griffin.

Gus seemed to suggest that Griffin would have known on Monday that he was gone by the end of the year so getting rid of him now probably ensures any ill-feelings he may have had didn't rub off or influence the players and their training. It is better to have someone like Ciraldo who'd be totally committed.

By all reports there was either no choice or Griffin chose it.

What O'Neill allegedly did I believe there was no choice after that. Gus had to move him on.
Ideally if he was on the outer it should have happened sooner.
The yep is for he shouldn't have been extended last year either.
