The NRL can’t cross into the territory of judging people’s sex lives.

And I say *possibly* allowing it to leak because if a sexual partner leaked it as a form of revenge then they shouldn’t be punished at all.

Sadly, I think where we are at is regardless of whether its revenge porn or not, it is a bad image for the game and you are held responsible. Basically, if you are in the NRL, you must not film sex acts, period. How is it leaked may mitigate the punishment, but filming sex acts must not be done as there is always a danger of it getting out.

Completely missed my point. I’m not saying the girls involved feel degraded, But most of the general public will likely perceive it as degrading to women regardless of whether it was consensual or not. That’s why he will be punished. If the NRL does nothing, it makes yesterday’s media conference a complete joke.
