We took 4 forwards in against Penrith last time.. maybe Flanno feels thats our best chance, even though its a gamble obviously if we get injuries.

Lawrie and Matt Feagai were named in the extended bench, both potentially coming from shoulder issues, the other 3 below were all named in NSW Cup actually, Bird, Brown, Rava.

18. Mathew Feagai
19. Blake Lawrie
20. Jack Bird
21. Fa’amanu Brown
22. Mikaele Ravalawa

Strong looking squad - its what we have needed for years, - some semblance of toughness and grit.
This team is not exactly that, (yet) but its what Wayne bought to us when he took charge. God bless him.
Lessons should have be learnt (they haven't been).
Anyway, Go the Dragons !!!!!!!!!!!

Both Bird and Ravalawa who were walk ins to FG at the beginning of the year are playing KOE.
Replaced by Max and Tui.

Bird took PO and will be with us 2025. As I said earlier in the year his best years are behind him. If Flanno moves him on then club must pay part of his salary. So I assume the thinking is to keep him as backop.

Seems Rava will go to super league. With Lomax gone, Mat, Allan, Tui and Finau will fight it out at the beginning and who knows Ramsay may be back.

I am not sure what the thinking is re Max. Unlike his brother he has not been offered extension yet. At the moment it seems Max is owning one centre position and has pushed Bird to KOE. So either an offer is on the table or the club is still negotiating with somebody else (Talagi???).

For the time he has been a referee ...

Dragons overall winning percentage: 46.87%
Dragons winning percentage with him: 36.49%

This is not going to be pretty
To be fair under Griffin we were easy to penalise each game, such a dumb footy team. Penalties, 6 agains, sin bins. They have improved in all these areas under Flanno

Given we have been fairly crap the last few years, I would suggest our winning record with any of the referees is crap. Take away the 5 or 5 games we win each year against the lower sides and our record is crap with any officials.

Perhaps it’s not the refs fault, maybe we play shit when he has our games?
Yes, probably that is the reason hahaha! I would love Flanno to test this out and get the players to be 100% in not making blunders to give away 6 agains and penalties and see where we end up with Sutton. I don't think that there has been any team ever not giving away a penalty or with this new 6 again rule but there could be a time and I just would love to see how the ref goes.

it is not about our winning record .. it is the comparison of our winning record vs our record under that ref.

for comparison .. we are 7/8 under kennedy ...
