We were outstanding. Plenty of pressure in defence we bombed a good 2 or 3 tries. But determined defence saved 3 or 4 of their's. The question is where was this form even mid-season.

Didn't we switch coaches mid year? Whatever the new bloke is doing appears to have taken a couple of months to catch on.

No change of coach, has been Melville all year. I think the biggest difference in this team is the backs have played the more dominant role, The stats from the warriors game show every player in the backline from 1 to 6 made more runs than any of our forwards, and also made at least twice as many metres. We didnt have a forward that made more than 10 runs and none came close to 100 mtrs. Our missed tackles are still a problem with moylan and santini missing 8 and 6. It would be nice if some miracle could see them make the eight, but extremely unlikely. The 20's season really came down to the gold coast game. Gold coast coming last, had only won 2 games all year. We played terrible, lost 11-10 had we won we would be in the eight today. I know we lost leslie in the first 5 minutes, and Austin 15 mins later, but we went in at halftime 6-6. I think desperation for your future can also play a part.

I heard about 5 or 6 of the NYC players got contract upgrades, does anyone know who is staying and who going from those players who turned 20 this year.

I know two from Souths NYC that have contracts at Panthers for next year. I have seen Jack Lee Hang play for the last couple of years, he did not stand out but has played front/second row and now named in the centres for Souths ??

Moylan, Pelasio, Watene-Zeleniak, Austin, Grace, Horton all re-signed but are to old for NYC. Siejka is still eligible next season.

Lee Hang has a backrowers build like Tia-Kilifi gets pushed out if injuries arise. Them & Eisenhuth should be our backrow next year.

Yep. We started strong & led 14-10 after 30 odd mins. With 25 to go we were down 28-14. Then we just got on a roll. Our left side of Siejka, VTK, Satini & Pelasio were outstanding.

Gk was almost a killer 3/9 we missed a few easy kicks. Well it comes down to the last round. Knights & Broncos lose we make it. Sadly we left our run late

The more i see of Satini the more i think he could be a bolter for First Grade next year.

I was there last night too, and the goal kicking was really off. We used 4 different kickers for 4 consecutive tries at one point IIRC.

By my calculation.s we'll need Brisbane and Newcastle to lose to the 2 bottom sides next week. I think we,ll beat the dragons then have to wait and hope there are two massive upsets..

Who does everyone think will make their first grade debut next year if they continue their form?

Does anyone have any stats on Saturday's game? Nrl.com, nrl stats and smh do not have any stats whatsoever.
