We all know Boncos2010 and Blazzazazz are the dumbest twats in the Broncos section on LU. 2010 has had to wait a whole year to have something to brag about and Blazzazazz has the biggest mouth on the forum until you give him a tiny bit of shit and he gets upset about not getting the respect he deserves.

When they fish, don't bite. We've still got a stupid amount of injuries. If that Broncos team had played us full strength they would have been sent packing. Good luck to em. They'll need it.

what did you say mate? I couldn't hear you from down there in the bottom half of the ladder

Look at you guys crying its so funny, but but but the ref robbed us, if we had our strongest team etc etc :lol:

Face it we are top of the table and you guys are back to your right spot where you belong at the bottom of the table where all the little small clubs belong.

You had your little fairy tale story last year with your easy draw but this year its the big boys that have come out to play again in Broncos and Storm.

We love him at Penrith. But we have some guys who are better suited to centre long term than Idris.

I'd rather we keep him and use him as a second rower. But if he leaves we won't miss him much if at all. We have guys ready for the centres now. When we signed him there was a hole in the centres. Now we have several options for that spot.

regarding Idris, yet you still put him in that list for some reason, you're trying to make it sound like you're missing half a dozen origin representatives

Waqa Blake needs Jamals centre spot is what he means by we wont miss him too much, he is to good for reserve grade now and plays left centre. Idris is a significant loss to our team despite that, he is still a better player than Waqa right now and is taking up a significant portion of our salary cap. So are Whare and Segeyaro, two more big losses to our team. Even with our first choice centre pairing out we have ROb Jennings to get into the side and Mansour to come back and more young guys coming through the 20s. That's what he means by we wont miss him, no knock on jamal as a player, we are just flush with outside backs at the moment.

the only guy who would have made a difference to the outcome would have been Segeyaro and if you're a realist you'd know that

Mansour - winger who's best attribute is bringing the ball back, you didn't lack go forward
Whare - centre, barely going to change the result
Idris - I have read on other forums you guys have better options, yet you put him in here why?
Wallace - solid halfback who is probably one of the best defensive halves in the comp, hasn't featured since Lockyer retired
Kite - lol
Segeyaro - impact player who you guys are sorely missing

we were missing Thaiday who has been one of our best this year since Wayne arrived, also Boyd first game back from a significant achillies injury and he was obviously told just to play a secure game at the back

we weren't at our best and still did enough to win, that's what good sides do

This is only stupid thing you said. But it is REALLY stupid. Whare can be a difference as he is a quality defensive centre who also has the ability to put the winger into space when needed - He definitely COULD of made a difference.

Regardless of all that, we lost - It was a gritty game and our goal line D was exceptional in stages - It was a good hit out for Soward who needs the game time - Could see that he is still very confident and having a good time out there - NOT the end of the season but we need to find our feet and come out strong next game and get the W.

Penrith 2015 at full strength > Broncos 2015 at full strength. End of story. Thanks for coming.

Read it again numb nuts. We have better options LONGTERM.

Right now our best centre pairing is Dean Whare and Jamal Idris. Both of them are rep experienced players. As are Josh Mansour, Peter Wallace and Brent Kite. James Segeyaro isn't far off being a rep player either.

That sort of experience in tight games is massive. Instead of an incumbent Australian winger and the best tackle breaker in the game, we had a 5 game rookie. Instead of an incumbent Kiwi centre, we had a 5 game rookie. Instead of a former Origin representative centre, we had a winger/fullback with less than a season of NRL experience playing out of position.

If you think those 6 starting players don't make a difference, try and picture how Broncos would go without their equivalents:
Copley
Hodges
Reed
Hunt
McCullough
Blair

They would get blown off the park by any team with 6 starting players out. Most teams would. Which is why Panthers fans can be impressed with the performance despite the result. We should never have been close. Let alone only losing due to an unlucky end to our last set.

We're only one win behind where we were at this point last year. With many players due to come back soon.

it's not Brisbane's fault you have injuries, we can only play what is put in front of us and that was by far your best performance of the year, you should be proud of your team's performance and I am sure you are but to simply say "oh if we had these guys playing we would of won", that's a bit of a stretch really

let's just wait and see how you go when you get all your players back (and I hope you do)

Our first 60 minutes of the year against Bulldogs and our second half against the Titans were better. But we then lost Soward among others which has crippled our team.

Suggesting injuries don't effect a team is the stretch. It's f**king ridiculous in fact. Every team is weakened when they lose half a dozen rep quality players.

You guys won the game and deserve to be leading the comp, there is no arguing that but you cant blame us for wondering what could of been if we had a couple of important players back.

Yeah Idris was in terrific form before injury.
Whare is super consistent and tends to setup his winger a lot.
Wallace is just a much better half than John.
Segeyaro just adds a spark that no other hooker has.
Mansour was our best meter eater last year and broke more tackles than any other player.

Kite is the only player who wouldn't improve the side IMO. But for whatever reason he's a certain starter for us and Clearly had to choose 6 guys he wouldn't have picked if we were at full strength.
