Panthers v. Heels

Well I am not sure what happens in this game. Parra are lacking fire-power with strike weapons Marata,Waqa and Sivo all out.
Penrith could be full strength and are at home. Unsure why they are playing their 6th home game already. Won't it get boring for members the back half of the season? Terrible scheduling by the NRL.

At best Penrith win. Both playing poor of late so unsure what happens as I feel we could see a semi final atmosphere.
If the Eels can stick with them I would take a fair bit away from the game.
Will TAGO and Penisini line up against each other or opposing sides? I'm starting to think Penisini might be the better player.
That's almost half played. I think we have a run after this when we do not play at home.

Hindy what a load of twaddle. Spoken with Eels coloured eyes.

Penrith aren't dropping games unlike Parramatta. Parra lost to the W/T, Cows, and the Sharks. Not even in the same postcode as Penrith.

Playing at home for the Penrith faithful is NEVER EVER boring.

Tago has a far higher ceiling that Penisini. This is Tago's first full year of grade.

Ridiculous. Penisni is 19 and his first full year. He is a year and a few months younger then Tago. Tago looks more explosive but in defense he is shaky while Will looks rock solid.

Yes Penrith are superior. I said that and I find this game interesting. But you've also had a soft as cheese draw and where have you travelled? 6/9 games at home is very favourable.

Eels also had a fair chunk of the backline out which hurt them. They have poor depth. And I am not even convinced Parra will make the top 8 tbh after what I have seen the last month.

I won't be suprised if Penrith win by 30 and make a statement but I also wouldn't be suprised if the Eels fired up and won.

Looking forward to the battle and which players career goes further. I've liked what I have seen from Tago but Pensini looks a cooler head and smarter player. His defense is superior and decision making also. Tago seems a better athlete and more explosive but Penisini is very strong. Wont suprise me if both play origin in the future.

Blake is the only real player out.Sivo has not been a force for a while. And any win is a good win don’t care by how many.
Going into the origin period this game could be vital

Oh dear hindy111:

I hope you release that Penrith doesn't control their draw, and who they get to play. The old saying works well. You can only play who is in front of you.

Also You've kinda forgotten Penrith had Cleary from round 1- round 4.

To'o and Leota have been out for about 7 weeks also. Most teams have had injuries. Penrith though have managed well with the players that have come in for injuries.

May has done really well. O'Sullivan also.

Darwin was a Parra home game.

Melbourne was the only other away game you guys have had. That is how Sydney clubs get it

May has to stay in the side. Unfortunate for Staines. Only other possibility is carrying one on the bench.
To'o could always plays 50mins on wing have a 10 min break then 20 mins floating around in the middle imo as a lock.
So what's your thinking?

Staines is dropped. May moves to the right. To'o plays Origin... So may moves back to the left and Stained comes back in. Only for To'o to return from Origin, Staines to be dropped and may to move to right again

Or are you suggesting the rookie keeps the Origin wingers spot. And To'o returning from injury shifts to the right for a game or two dropping Staines. Then plays left wing for NSW with Staines coming back in then being dropped again etc.?

Looking at a team cohesion point of view. Combinations and familiarity in that position the best option is May fills in for To'o and drops to bench or reserve grade until the origin distribution period is over and changes can be permanent barring injuries. The backline dynamic barely changes this way too. The only consistency Panthers will get when Luai, cleary, Yeo, Martin, koroisau and To'o are out for Origin. Replacing both halves will be easier with a backline that hasn't changed. Our right edge with Staines and critter will be better defensively covering for replacing Martin and Cleary too. SOS defended with them for a bit so there's some familiarity there.

We can basically field our undefeated backline with only one unavoidable change through the Origin period. Both versions of the backline were used in our undefeated run and barely skipped a beat. The smart move is to wait until after Origin like Ivan did last year before making big decisions.

We get a good couple of months to get a good look and change it

We've got three sets of back to back away games, the first starting after this game. Four weeks between home games after round 13 due to the Origin 2 weekend.

Haze Perham is on wing. I'd rather Sivo thanks.

Marata is one of our best forwards. Makatoa is poor as is Bryce.
Excellent now I have my excuse if we lose all set.

I'm thinking you start with Too and Staines.
And bring in May around 50 mins. Give Too a breather then throw him in a floating forward style roll. Or just leave Maybin bench as cover.
You only need 3 bench players and 1 as a back up to the backline. If the games won you sub them in and rest a guy.

Soft draw? My God, all the teams plays each other. Sounds like you're jealous?

I'm stating facts....
Saints,Knights,Titans,Brisbane,Raiders Bulldogs.

Along with Manly and Souths.

5 of those at home. It's been a soft draw I feel. They travelled to Gold Coast. And only time had to leave Sydney.Actualy you did go to Bathurst which for Newcastle would of been a nightmare getting there.

Compare it to the Eels.

They've been down to Melbourne, Trip to Newcastle, Up to the Gold Coast and also Darwin. Forgetting who they've played it is a lot of travelling around. So every 2nd week travelled.

Yes you can only play what's infront of you. And it's a 2 horse race atm. But I am just stating facts. I expect Panthers to keep beating the better sides also.
