Panthers v Parra

Momo ain’t getting dropped, he was arguably our best player on the weekend.

Up to Cleary (and Crichton) to get Crichton involved from the wing. He should be touching the ball in a set play every other set.

I know Momo played well, but I’ve gotta agree with Whino. I hate this piss farting around with specialist positions Ivan sometimes does. Crichton is the best centre, he should be playing centre.

Sometimes you need to make the call for what’s in the best interests of the team, doesn’t matter how well someone played.

If we don’t go back to our gameplan that won us something like 29 of 30 games then we are going out in straight sets.

No more bomb and hope or throw it to Kikau and expect him to do something. If we rely on this, we are cannon fodder.
He very nearly did at the death.

It'll definitely be Kenny then.

I do think Momirovski having the efforts at either end topped what anyone else did. Yeo's break was good though and a missed opportunity.
Not just that but outstanding defence and a valuable link role with the ball, and played the full 80 in the middle.

It's like he freaks out or loses his nerve come finals.

Im not necessarily disagreeing and it may have been a potential option if Staines had had a blinder but it won’t be happening now.

Momo was good no doubt but the fact that he is considered our best performer on the day goes to show how ordinary the team generally was. He wasn't THAT good. He made a big defensive play but that wasn't by himself - Crichton got excellent first contact before Momo finished off the try saver.

Momo also showed hustle to get that Cleary kick and executed well for Crichton to score but it is not like it was some special play. Besides those two incidents he did nothing of real note. Was his usual self - defensively solid, tried to help out getting the ball up field, no real threat with the ball.

I would agree with others saying Yeo's contribution was better. He held the middle together with South threatening to break us to pieces there, made a good break and decent yardage - but even he went 'missing' for periods.

Maybe it is arguable 😂

Moving Crichton to the wing is classic cautious Cleary, this is who he is.

I just think it’s absurd you move your best centre around so much, especially when we have a number of wing options.

It’s fine to say he should go looking for the ball, but Momo needs to pass the ball! That’s a key skill for a centre, setting up your winger.

Crichton hasn't played in the same position for multiple weeks all season, Ivan just doesn't know how to handle someone with great talent and x factor. His use of TPJ is another example

Eels are paying over $4. I would of had them around 3 so I suspect the Tab has been tipped off on suspensions.
They all work together.
The odds will change after team list Tuesday and then vary on where the money is.i suspect by kick off the eels will just be in front as favourites
