I’ve gone through the draw and there are so many permutations about who will grab the last spot in the finals - but I don’t think it will be the Dragons.
They’ve done so well to be in this position with two rounds to go, but they’ve also been so inconsistent in the past couple of months, and I reckon they’ll slip up against the Eels this week. With their poor for-and-against, that might be enough for them to miss out.

Top 8 is all but confirmed now thanks to Joey.

Also Gutho, if you are interested in a 2 year deal, how about a couple of dropped balls and defensive misreads on Saturday. Blame the sun in your eyes.

I'm not too sure if Barrett gives two hoots about us and won't be giving us any favours. He has been long gone from his days at the Dragons and all he remembers is the slap on his face that Nathan Brown gave him for playing shit. He is likely to end up as the attacking coach at the Broncos next year so he would want to finish the season on a winning note in the Eels last two games.

The Eels this year have been in disarray with injuries to some key players, particularly Mitch Moses and the stabbing of Brad Arthur by club officials and the media. I think that if Moses had played for most of the season, the Eels would not be coming second last and Arthur might have held onto the coaching job. They do have a formidable squad and have been playing quite good in their last few games.

The Dragons guys could not keep up with the Sharks last week but the Sharks players are overall better players. Nothing could have been done by the Dragons to beat the Sharks because our team just wasn't good enough and they are showing signs that they are physically and mentally exhausted after putting in a lot to reach the top 8 with 2 rounds to go. They might have reached the top in their last win against the Titans.

But because bloody Andrew Johns said that we wont be in the semis, I'm going to say that we will and then we can stick it right up Johnsy the mocker.

You cant predict the result.. we arent that reliable a side.. but I do think Flanno will get us up.. its almost more a question of which parra side shows up.. noting that there is nothing riding on this game for them.. nothing at all.. which should be good for us.. but its also a free pass for them to throw it around... and hopefully that leads to errors.. because errors is what keeps us in games. I do hate not having Suli though..

If we replayed this scenario.. I reckon we win 7 out of 10 times.. but we only get 1 crack at em.. will be an epic win if we get it too in terms of dealing with pressure.
