Manly didn't score a try more than 5 metres out. Outmuscled and out enthused .
Size matters in the heat and we dont have players that generate metres from the collision.
Starting your best 2 defenders on the bench didn't work. Alvaro, Tepai and Will Smith were our best performers. Moses at least was enthusiastic which is a whole lot more than some of them.
Auv'a drop on the first at 12-0 was crucial
Think we will be better when there is more movement as the temp cools, but today was a major step back, if BA doesn't acknowledge that in the presser then we are in for a long season.

BA needs to acknowledge that he f**ked up monumentally. His tactics, team selections and recruitment in the offseason have been diabolical.

He decided to only have one trial and we are now obviously severely underdone. He is still learning and needs help. He has had 5 years. If he doesn't make the 8 this year he needs to be sacked. The end.

I like BA as a coach and don’t want him sacked he’s the best we had in a while but I’d have to question what exactly they worked on in the off season. From what I heard they got a new trainer who was focusing on running style? WTF?!! The boys have been running since they were 4 years old... seriously what the f**k?! Running ?

how does a coach f**k up round 1 selections, make changes and then be worse in round 2?

Do you really think something as simple as team selections was responsible for this? They are all first graders. The only difference from last year is the heat, and I'd say our performances since 14-0 in Penrith have been related to our attempt to manage it. It looks to me like our blokes are trying to pace themselves, when what Arthur called for was 'front-loading the effort'.

Nope but surely team selections should be on the coach. Also the fitness of the team which is what I believe is the major problem. BA selected the strength and conditioning guy - An AFL bloke with no experience with rugby league

Bottom line - they should not even be out there. Disgraceful that sides have to play in 37 degree heat. Someone will die if we keep doing this. Player welfare is all that matters. Stuff the TV deal. They should have postponed the game. Our players could take a fortnight to recover. It is not acceptable.

And Parra have had two such games back-to-back.
