We lost four in a row early last year.

Our biggest loss in that losing streak was only 14 points.

There are some serious defensive deficiencies in our team.

That was a diabolical performance from the Eels, but kudos to Manly - way too good for us.

The most concerning fact about todays game was our complete lack of defensive attitude from the first 5 minutes, which resulted in the performance we got for the next 75 mins.

For a team that success was built around defensive attitude and being allowed to consistently play the ball incorrectly that has now been outlawed in the game, it doesn't auger well for good season in 2018.

You can handle a few early season loses but they was absolutely garbage. No intensity from the opening whistle and this was after the coach gave them a rev up.

A few blokes looked to have jumped the shark in the off-season and some strange and poor team and bench decisions from the coach.

Is it the way we play rather than attitude? Have opposing coaches worked us out? Are we capable of playing differently?

Just to confirm the final score across both Wenty grades and the NRL. We only lost 164-0, rather than my earlier 'finger in the air' estimate of 180-0. So, if you think about it, that's a 16 point win already.

I've invested my emotional state in this rabble and we need answers. Like I said in an earlier post we need an explanation. We have been bashed in both grades to zero.

What the f**k have the coaching staff been doing? Where the f**k are the player's heads at? We need answers and it starts with the coach and then his underperforming squad.

We were outplayed with passion today.
I'm not particularly worried at this stage of the season.
It was only two weeks ago that the biggest supporters of this club, who were talking us up, yet today, they are putting complete shit on us.

We were totally outplayed by a team that aren’t even considered a threat for the premiership. Alarm bells are well and truely ringing. Gus blew up Griffith or whatever his name is for losing a preseason game. Obviously the spray didn’t hurt anyone going by the results. BA has got the team he wanted, there shouldn’t be any excuses.
