Ladies and gents

2005 see's the return of the Parra V Bulldogs @ Parra stadium after 3 seasons. Someone on the NRL forum posted a thread about 2005 Pools, and the Dogs arnt in our pool which means we play 'em twice. I'm pretty excited, despite the fact the bulldogs fans are the biggest scum in the game previously these clashes have attracted 20,000+ crowds and it's a great atmosphere.

FINALLY the NRL has opened its eyes!

One of the greatest NRL rivalries will have two showdowns!

FINALLY we can play them at Parramatta again!

It's not so much a case of the NRL opening their eyes, but the luck of the pooling system.

I'm not one to advocate animal cruelty, but Parra will CRUSH the Dogs at Parra Stadium. The NRL should make it our opening game of the season.
- We will be injury and suspension free.
- Our new recruits will be be eager to get off on the right foot. Tahu will open up with a hat-trick :p
- the Dogs will still be blind drunk from their celebrations of this years GF victory. ;-)

it's like being transported to wembley when they pump out the Parra chant over the P.A. system.

Thats great. Now all we need to do is the sell out the game in advance with 100% blue and gold supporters, so that none of them can get in and ruin the joint!!

That will be so sweet.

Also, it might have been luck, but the last time we played the Dirty Dawgs at Parra was in 2002 - long time between drinks.

TOO long.

ANd what's with the South Sydney-East Sydney clash only being played once?

We shouldn't count our chickens before they hatch on this one. We have 3 trial matches and months of training before Round 1. Plenty of time for injuries there.

We generally should not count our chickens on any front. I remember the last three years there have been some decent write ups on us coming into the start of the season, and I cringe every time I see them.

Yes, If they split the pools the same way they have since souths was "allowed" back in the comp we will play Broncos, Storm, Tigers and Rabbits once only in the regular season next season.

Apart from the battle on the field there will be several other battles at Parramatta Stadium. The Bulldogs fans vs anything in Blue and Gold.

We'll be in a better position to win, and hopefully we can do it. Only time will tell though I guess. They're gonna have a few ex Parra players at their club next year ready to prove a point.

Now come on Ron! Lighten up!!!

We are gonna kick the bulldogs ass so hard next year and I will make sure i'm there to see it. Life's all about being optimistic! Sometimes you get lucky and good things happen and other times like the past few years in regards to footy...you get drop kicked right in the f***ing heart. Goooo Parra!!!

Sorry for being pesimistic, but deep down i know the boys are intimidated by the dogs, they are a better side after all.
