Yeah he should have stayed in New Zealand if he wanted to win under 20s games. But he did beat the Broncos twice last year as well as the Junior Kangaroos. I'd say he's not too interested in under 20s these days. He's sure playing like it.

Dyldam Parramatta Eels Holden Cup Head Coach Steven Hales has confirmed his side to take on the Melbourne Storm this Sunday at Parramatta's Pirtek Stadium.

Hales has named a new halves pairing with Michael Doolan and Troy Dargan called into the side after the Eels SG Ball side were recently knocked out of the District Representative competition.

Kick off is at 1:45pm.

Saw in the LU sidebar that our very own Travis Turnbull was picked for the QLD Under 16's at fullback. Normally playing in the halves for us he certainly has the speed to play fullback, hopefully he does well but not too well.

Saw in the LU sidebar that our very own Travis Turnbull was picked for the QLD Under 16's at fullback. Normally playing in the halves for us he certainly has the speed to play fullback, hopefully he does well but not too well.

I guess one positive about Travis wearing the #1 is that he won't have to potentially deal with having Josh Curran, Tui Afualo or Filia Utoikamanu steaming into him on the edges every other set. :D

Can't wait to see Dargan play.

I would suggest you curb your enthusiasm at least a little bit. Not as a slight to Dargan mind you but considering that the he will be playing behind a pack that struggles once it rotates beyond its initial bookends along with a lack of direction from dummy half it will be a fair challenge for both he and Doolan this week.

Any reason Tonise hasn't returned then, since SG ball is finished ?
