Tepai wasn't dropped mate, he's got school commitments ... He goes to joeys ( i think) so maybe hes obliged to play rugby same thing happened last year...

Don't mean to butt in on a Parra thread but he goes to Newington and was an Australian schoolboy rep last year - they beat the NZ schoolboys in NZ - he goes alright in the 15 man game.

He's only a baby.

Tepai, 16, may be a big catch for Eels

Tepai Moeroa, 16, plays for Seven Hills JRLC and won Parramatta Junior Rugby League player of the year.

SEVEN Hills Junior Rugby League club second-rower Tepai Moeroa is one step closer to representing the Parramatta Eels.
The 16-year-old won Parramatta district’s player of the year award in December after a strong season, which ended in grand final glory against Cabramatta.
“I was shocked when I won the award,” he said.
“To be called the best player for my age was a special thing.”
Tepai enjoys rugby league because it keeps him fit and helps him meet new people.
Like many players his age, Tepai hopes to emulate Wests Tigers five-eighth Benji Marshall.

Round 6: NYC Match Report
Eels Digital
Sunday 14 April 2013 6:00 PM

Our Holden Cup skipper Kaysa Pritchard got the Parramatta Eels off to a solid start burrowing his way through the Titans defence in the 12th minute of play at Skilled Park. Mitchell Brasington had no troubles with the extras to set up an early six-nil lead.

Plenty of possession saw the Eels pressing the Titans line again, this time Sam Gorman exploited a gaping hole to hand the Eels a 10-nil buffer - 12-nil after Brasington again converted the try.

The Gold Coast responded with a 40/20 and went on the attack, it sparked their opening try compliments of Mitch Ardler - the centre sidestepping Parra’s defence and barging over. The Titans struggled to convert allowing the Eels a 12-4 lead at half time.

The Titans started the scoring in the second half with Kyle McConnell hitting the tryline in the corner, with the conversion, the Eels were back to a 12-10 scoreline.

But Mitchell Brasington was at in again, finding the line, but failing to convert his own four-pointer.
A late charge to the Eels saw Diamond Charlie score, and James Tuitahi bagged a double in the space of 15 minutes, the Eels storming home 32 points to 10 victors.

Eels 32 (James Tuitati 2, Diamond Charlie, Mitchell Brasington, Kaysa Pritchard, Sam Gorman tries; Brasington 4 goals)
Titans 10 (Mitch Ardler, Kyle McConnell tries; Kane Elgey goal)

I'm tipping that this kid Brasington will come from nowhere and play NRL soon rather than later despite his lanky frame. He is a very smart footballer.

He looks like a good prospect but I feel he is wasted at fullback. Tuitahi and Moeakiola are giving us alot of impact from kick returns but Brasington isn't adding much from the back...really playing as a third half out there.

It would be a tough decision for Webster but I would push him back into the halves and put the loser out of Clay/Gorman onto the bench. Vescio would be the biggest loser, having to play in the Ron Massey Cup or Sydney Shield but Clay in particular has experience at dummy half.

I think Corey Makelim should be close to making a return from injury which would coincide nicely with the positional changes.

So the only player good enough to play U20s NSW/QLD Origin is Chaise Blair ? Kelepi/Pauli not in the top 4 of their positions ?
