Conversion is waved away as Hastings pulls it to the left.

Parramatta lead 12-10, 22min gone.

Really soft stuff there, St George punish us for an elementary mistake.

Big metres here for the Dragons as the fight their way into our half off the kickoff. They finish their set with an ordinary kick but Brasington misses his attempt to trap the ball with his foot and has to retrieve the ball from the ingoals. Fortunately he is still able to return it to the 10m line.

The referee rules 6-again in the middle of our set as St George get a hand on the ball. Moeakiola is doing alot of work this set with two hit ups.

Gorman attacks the Dragon's left edge and links up with Broadhurst who makes a good run and an offload.

On the last Gorman stabs a grubber down the our left edge but it is cleaned up easily by St George.

Runciman looks dangerous for the Dragons but we are able to contain him and St George finish their set with an ineffective midfield bomb.

St George are then pinged for a high shot.

Nice ball skills by Daoud and Brasinton there to put Junior Mauala over!

Daoud double pumps to put Brasington through a half gap and he links up nicely with Freddy Jnr.

Brasington makes it three from three.

Parramatta lead 18-10, 29min gone.

Sean Jackson makes some good metres to put us into the opposition's half but Sam Gorman follows his hit up with a shocking pass that ends up in the hands of the Dragons.

St George bomb our right edge once more but spill it yet again. No real danger there and Broadhurst cleans it up to start our set.

The Dragons are solid in defence and we kick it from our own half. A decent kick chase means that the Dragons start their set 30m out from their line.

Brasinton is on point to clean up a grubber kick but he is pinned on our 10m line.

Parramatta are adventurous in their own half and it nearly comes unstuck a couple of times. It ends up with Aukafolau who fights his way forward for a good run.

On the next play, Parramatta attack the short side and the ball ends up with Pauli Pauli who is bundled into touch.

Hutchinson goes straight through the ruck for the Dragons and he is run down by Ualesi. Once again they attack our right edge and they look like going over through a short ball but the desperate offload is intercepted by Parramatta.

St George are pinged for a strip against Diamond Charlie but they challenge the call.

Much like the earlier challenge by Parramatta the original decision stands.

Parramatta resume play from their 40m line.

Daoud is playing alright! He is linking up cleanly with Brasinton and Charlie this set to put us on the front foot.

Brasington hoists it to the left on the last and Moeakiola snatches the ball beautifully and plants it over the line to trouble the scorers!

Brasington keeps his streak alive, adding his fourth conversion today.

Parramatta lead 24-10, 38min gone.

Vescio and Pauli Pauli are sharp around the ruck on the kickoff set and earn another penalty.

A big chance to put St George away here!

What a great try that was. This is a really entertaining game for Eels fans. The academy is on show in a big way so far today.

And we waste the opportunity...

Moeakiola spills an easy pass from Brasington as we threaten the right edge of St George.

30sec left in the half

Diamond Charlie takes our first hit up of the second half with a strong carry. Two tackles later, Luke Vescio is sharp out of dummy half and makes some easy metres.

Brasington puts up a towering bomb to complete the set but Hastings leaps high and comes down with it.

St George set up for a 40/20 but Lavaka looks to have it covered...however he misjudges the bounce and it goes into touch.

Big chance here for the Dragons.

Excellent line speed from Parramatta in their first important defensive set. They are all over St George and scramble extremely well to counter the second phase football. They end up killing the ball on the last to earn possession.

Parramatta on the attack now with a very strong tackle bust and run from captain Moeakiola. Gorman runs it on the last but gives Pauli Pauli a terrible pass as he runs an overs line. Pauli can't hold onto it and St George get the ball 10m out from their line.

The Dragons are then given a pressure relieving penalty as the Eels infringe in the ruck.
