Wow, there are a lot of retarded posts in here.
Too slow. How about Israel Folau?
Anyway, he debuted at 17 years of age, making him the exception that proves the rule.
You would think there would be a random player that would have. Sam Burgess is probably an example.
Isreal Folau isnt a very good example, because after all he played first grade prior to the commencement of the NYC competition. It would have been highly probable that he would have played in the NYC before playing in the NRL, had the NYC competition been in place.
Just watched the Souths v Titans game and a young 21 year old reserve halfback (Luke Keary) scored 2 tries - it was announced that he was a Parramatta junior from the Hills Bulls.
Does anyone know his background re: rep teams?
Is this another quality junior that was overlooked or slipped the net?
By Poo(f)man's definition of the modern footballer he probably doesn't fit the bill, being about 170cm and about 80kgs; but he has very good natural football talent.
If we didn't sign him why isn't he playing A grade for Hills?
Do you reckon maybe other clubs also scout the Parramatta district?
Anyway, Souths signed him from Burleigh Bears for 2012.
WTF  your reasoning gets more illogically everday.
Mate, he was under the Broncos' and Titans' noses in 2011 and Souths got him.
Interesting question. I'll get back to you lol.
Did Jake Foster play NYC? I assume so.
Yep 2008 Dogs.
Found one I think! Don't think Jack Reed played NYC.
What was he doing in 2008 then?
Apparenty playing for Souths Logan
So the greatman says so it shall be
Jake Foster was Guilford Owls junior not sure if played 20s but certainly another one missed by Parramatta
Yeah missing him has really cost us :? I mean what a miss.........
Foster, another one that got away...
Who the f*ck is that merkin?
I think he likes chip rolls, and seems to be a nice bloke.
Could be the next Robert Mathews.
