Reflecting on the game, I thought that Brien is really close to a 1st grade call up. If not this year then def next year. He runs hard and can pop a pass. He's attitude in defence is excellent as well.

Both front rowers impressed me as well.

Rory would certainly be more worthy to sit on the bench than Billy Rogers.

Agree totally ,when you have attacking talent on the right edge like Jennings and Gagan who get no quality ball , score 7 tries between them in the first 3 rounds why would you not get more ball to that edge ?????

They had the Sharks covered at half time, went into the sheds and came out with a different game plan, trying to barge through the goal line defence against moving it in the first half. This is the scheme that MC uses, we lose our way trying to shut up shiop and get run down.

Very frustrating , I am not sure how well they are coached, time for change in that area

Never rated Cameron, he has had sides that he should have won comps with and was never successful.

Hopefully he is finally moved on at the end of the year!

Knights knock on in the first tackle of an attacking set in our 20m.

Rain is on the way.

Knights are lucky to dodge a bullet. Awful call from the refs who rule the knights winger didn't touch the ball as it rolled out when he clearly did.

Quick hands out wide from Barba put O'Hanlon through the sliding defence.

Parra 4-0 KTC

Conversion missed by Bruest who has assumed kicking responsibilities in light of Wehbe's absence

Barnstorming run from O'Hanlon, after receiving quality b all from Barba.

O'Hanlon offloads and Tupou goes for the line himself, butchering a try given the support.

Barba shoots from dummyhalf and scores

Parra 8-0 KTC.

Knights ruled to have passed forwards after they break the line. Lucky break for the lads. Eisenhuth is off the field receiving treatment for his wrist (?) I believe.

Terepo makes another strong carry and is taken high by the Knights. Parra are taking the shot at goal.

Penalty successful for Bruest.

Parra lead Newcastle 12-0

Huge contact off the kickoff as Seumana-something steamrolls over a Knight.

Parra defend off their try line and scoop up a loose pass from Newcastle. A half-break takes us up past halfway.
