I reckon Pat still needs to bulk up a little bit. Maybe a few games at the end of the year as an introduction for next year unless the 20's keep pushing for a finals spot.

As good as Rory Brien is in NYC, I wonder if he'll ever be good enough for first grade.

He just seems to lack that extra bit of speed or size, like if he was bigger he'd be fast enough or if he was faster he'd be big enough.

Well, he's not even 20 yet, and he's 186cm and 92kg. Maybe next year after an off-season of hitting the weights he'll be right to go.

Hmmmmm maybe getting him ready for first grade on the wing ;-)

That might just be for the Dragons' benefit - Barba is a target for other teams, whether running at him in the halves or bombing him at fullback.

Naming him on the wing forces them (the opposition) to pay him less attention in their gameplan, or second-guess where he's going to line up.

Even if he runs out as a winger, you can expect Marmin Barba to spend plenty of minutes at fullback - probably any set we start in the attacking half.

Chris Ulugia was very good at fullback last week, Marmin's future is definitely in the halves imo

I cannot see Marmin playing in the halves for defensive purposes just like his brother

Yep me too. Ben Barba , Preston Campbell all excell @ fullback. It suits them in both attack and defense.

Have it on good authority Jason Seage has turned his back on the ARU deal to possibly become an EEL and be Sandows understudy, but Souths are in the hunt as well.

From what I remember he was doing ok when he left Parra. It's worth a shot getting him back and see how he goes at Wenty.
