Pirtek Parramatta Eels NYC coach Steve Speechley will field an almost full strength lineup against Newcastle this Saturday as the team attempts to break a seven-match losing streak.

Speechley has retained senior players Jason Wehbe, Matt Eisenhuth and Vai Toutai who had previously been gaining experience at the NSW Cup level for Wentworthville.

The team will be without their most consistent player in hooker Luke Vescio but the match will feature the debut of young gun Chad McGill, another one of the Eels' promising SG Ball players.

Pauli Pauli injured too ?

Makes you feel real old when Buggo & Brian Jackson's kids are playing U20's.

Neil Hunt's son has been playing a bit of FG for Souths IIRC. His grandfather played for Souths, so I won't bag him.

How about when the only NRL player older than you announces his retirement?

For stages in a man's life that's up there with the first time someone younger than you debuts in first grade.

From the amount of responses this forum receives about Gagan and Jennings, these players are superstars in the making.

Ive seen jennings and didnt rate him.I put him in the wehbe category.
Gagan looks a lot better. But young players can improve fast or decline just as quickly
Just look at POH.

Gagan out with hamstring problems which were misdiagnosed in 2010, Jennings with back strain poss 2 weeks,i think some of these injuries are due to the trainers not knowing what the players do in there day, both the above start work @ 6am till 2.30pm then start training at 4.30pm till 8.30pm i think fatigue has a lot to do with this.

I dont know how much you have seen of Jennings , but you have to look at what a player does defensively, offensively , on and off the footy.I would like to see Ryan Morgan play back row as Jennings did against the sharks 42 tackles 7 carries 1 line break 1 line break assist 1 try then play 5/8 vs souths the next week for 28 tackles 9 runs for over 100mtrs over 200mtrs in kicks all this when he is a centre, when teamed with Gagan give every team they played cause for concern.both Australian scoolboys 2010 scored tries in both tests in england 21 tries between them sg ball 2010 . If we were to not look deep enough when rating players you could look at Vai Toutai game on saturday vs penrith 1st half 8 tacles 5 misses 5 runs for the whole game.....need we go on.

Mike Hunt ? Has anyone seen Mike Hunt ?

#porkys

I went to school with a kid whose name was Mike Hunt, we had a substitute teacher for Legal Studies one day, and when he told the teacher his name the teacher got the shits and sent him to the principal.
