McClymont was just on the radio with Hadley and said a 2nd club will be revealed to be doing similar.

Got to give her credit for being able to dig these stories out. She was the one behind the Bulldogs bust too from memory

Should have just taken money from the leagues club accounts ie 300K, then mysteriously put it back without explanation. No worries if it's done that way.

Works for some.

Just quit ya job and the problems allllll go away!?!!!

So with the extra Sandow was on 700k-750k:crazy::crazy:

Hopoate is very very overrated. How he's on 800k I don't know?

Hopoate was always signed for overs, but when they signed him he was absolutely killing it at Manly. Even then, it was silly money but at the time he was showing so much.

They completely underestimated how big an effect the 2 year God Squad break would have on him. That plus players just seem to go backwards in playing ability when they pull on the blue and gold :D

Bulldogs and Brisbane were the losing semi-finalists. Seeing as though the Bulldogs finished the regular season higher on the ladder it is only fair that they are declared the rightful premiers of 2009

Ladders are over rated
Give it to the Wooden spooners of that season

This is just sad. At least the Bulldogs and the Storm cheated to have good teams. Parramatta have allegedly cheated the cap and still been by far the worst team over the last 5 years.

Agreed - how can you cheat that much and bring so little
Maybe that's their tactic

Oh shit - we're way over the cap. We'd better be absolute gash to deflect attention.

This is kind of interesting.

If a club pays for a training camp to the US for 2 weeks for all their players, is this legal?

What about if a club director organises some mates rates, but no payments are ever made?

What if a club owns a property and uses it to house players for free?

If none of this is contracted, just perks of the job, how can it be illegal?

I don't understand why any club would deal in under the table payments when there are so many ways to financially benefit players without cheating.
