Ball we absolutely embarrassing today. They were there own worst enemies. Drop ball and poor completion rate.
It looked like they gave up.
6-14 completion first half and only down 12-10 half time.
No ball what so ever second half and final score 44-14.
Not taking anything away from Panthers at all well deserved win, But if our boys completed well the scoreline would of been much different. Where Panthers that much better team than us, Yes today they were but if we played like we did last week against manly we would of won easy. We made Penrith look a lot better than they really are.
I'm not going to point fingers as I'm sure those players know who they are that performed badly. 97% of the team.
In my opinion the standout with a great kicking game, Some very solid hits defensively and didnt stop working his arse off
was young hooker Schneider.

Fingers crossed next week v Souths

Can't win them all. I'm sure a big reality check. Onwards and upwards from here.

If my memory serves me correctly it was R3 last year we copped a flogging from Illawarra which turned our season around. So I'm hopeful.
We do have a hard run home, Sharks, Dogs, Roosters, Knights In no particular order.

Only my opinion.
Harold Matthews Cup team looked great on the weekend, Albeit playing an opposition not able to compete with the class Parramatta showed. Standout for me was the number 7 who controlled the game well and steered his team around the park. Another standout was a the tall number 3 playing right centre. Very athletic build, strong in both attack and defence.

SG Ball team looked very lethargic and where there own worst enemies. Constant drop ball and giving away silly penalties.
Defensively there line speed to get up in Souths face was non existent.
Stefano was solid in the middle but pushed a few passes and put the team under pressure but in the same breath when he held the ball he was making meters.
I thought Schneider looked good with his running game and kicking game that was till early in the first half the was taken off with with what looked like a serious injury to his shoulder.
The team is struggling at present and I cant put my finger on it, If Schneider is ruled out although we are not a one man team. I'm struggling to see where this team will finish in the top 8 or even make the top 8 at all.
We have 2 halves that seem to be lost. No communication or talk everything comes from Schneider.
A winger who is down on confidence drpping the ball numerous times without any pressure.

Fingers crossed the team comes together.
Hard run home. Wests next week at Campbeltown - Dogs - Sharks - Roosters - Knights
We finish with 3 of the top 4 teams.

Anyone have any news on Schneider's injury yet.?

What's my narrative? He is listed in the Flegg squad. Why wouldn't he be back in time? He should be fully recovered by the beginning of July. Still plenty of footy left by then.

Fair call but if requiring surgery as mentioned bye Delboy you would think its a 6 month recovery and that makes it August/Sept,
Also if info is correct bye Delboy Schneider doing a Nrl preseason starting November I cant see the club pushing the kid to quick.
Great recognition for the kid and something for him to look forward to.
I'm sure his disappointed missing out on u18s Origin and Aus schoolboys this year with all reports would of most prob been captain in both teams. But he did play both teams last year a year young.

Without being bias I have a few favourites . Schneider, Brown, S. Utoikamanu, F, Utoikamanu, Kaufusi, Dunster, Parry. Cronin.
Great bunch of kids and the future of the Parramatta Eels
