Parramatta Eels Juniors

A few of the girls who played for us last year followed the coach when he left Parra & went to the Tigers. Some very good players also like Shaylee Bent. She was on the cover on the junior rep program last weekend. Tigers are doing well this year. No idea why we didn't keep the coach

Joe Galuvao coached the girls last year. Dont know about the squad but they have no speed this year and just get run around. And when they have the ball it is just one out stuff

Im going to make a bold mr 85% tip. Young Noel Aukfalou will be better then older brother and will make first grade..... I have a knack of spotting talent.

Great result today bye our Harold Matthews cup team, Apart from the laps in concentration 2 weeks ago against Panthers 22-6 up & loosing 25-22 I think the tide has turned and personally believe they are the team to beat in this competition.
Parramatta & Manly are my guess for Harold Matthews Cup premiers 2018 - I know some of you may say the Knights but they really haven't had much competition, The draw has been favourable to them. The only opposition they have played who are a decent team but they did loose to them last week which was Penrith.

Not sure what is happening with our SG Ball side. Very disappointing loss today to the Sharks 35-16.
If they continue this down hill slide I see them missing the top 8. Next week we play the roosters who are currently undefeated and one of the teams to beat in this competition. So it only gets harder from here, Following week we play the dogs who put in an outstanding effort today against the other undefeated team the Panthers 26-22. whom flogged us a few weeks ago 42-14
Last week we play another top 3 team the Knights. So things are not looking good.
The loss of Schneider & the lack of halves are killing this team on top of the huge amount of handling errors.
We need a win from the remaining 3 games and I'm not sure we can do that.
Good luck boys.
My tip for SG Ball are Penrith - Rosters 2018

I've been really impressed with the Matts since their loss to the panthers, they've thought about the loss and worked on their weaknesses and have really impressed in their past 3 games, in particular Tuipolotu, Harte, Penisini, Arthur, Raukete, and Tohi. Taateo can be a good player but needs to work on his handling and play the balls, makes too many mistakes each week.

SG Ball aren't playing as a team and making too many consecutive errors. As we saw early in the second half today if they hold the ball they're capable of scoring points as they are a very good team, even without Schneider. Given that a lot of these boys have gone through most of their junior footy careers undefeated I'd say these losses may be good for them to learn from

If we really cared about SG Ball results we would drop Dylan Brown from Flegg until SG Ball season ended. Especially now Schneider is gone for the season. SG Ball won everything last year so you'd have to expect a fair bit of turnover the next year. Do we have a team of mostly 17 year olds this year?

Fair call. I guess its all about there development

Id say 75% are of age - 25% are a year young.

Whereas 2017 squad 16/24 of our squad were a year young & we had guys of age playing 20s
Tui, Fonoua, Utoikamanu, Kaufusi, All year
Brown, Tipari, Akafolou, Dunster, joined when Ball season finished

I hope I didn't leave anyone out.

Oh that's right, our NYC side had half a dozen 18 year olds as well hey? I'd say Brown and Schneider made the difference in SG Ball last year. They're the closest thing to guaranteed future first graders you get at this age (besides the rare blokes who actually play first grade at 18).
