I don’t think we prioritised anyone ahead of him, we just didn’t want to match the Tigers’ offer. At the time they were spending big on poaching the best juniors from everywhere. Plenty of them went on to win premierships, e.g. Korobeite, Fifita, Addo-Carr, Tedesco, Papenhuyzen
