Looking forward to the U19 Origin tonight. I thought it was cute that Ch9 referred to Kayo Stadium last night as Dolphin Stadium.

9Now TV guide can’t bring itself to type those letters K a y o either.

lol don't go off too quickly. Jake Arthur carved up at under 19s level. The year he turned 19 he scored seven tries in reserve grade, against grown men ffs. Under 19s means f**k all.

f**k all ? no

I think it can be a decent indication of what will happen when they mature.

I suppose you're willing to ignore Sander's form too. I guess we shouldn't retain him then.

I know that Ch9 last night were trying hard to reinforce that game as being the next superstars, however the harsh reality is that they'll be lucky to play 1 NRL game.

This is the 2018 NSW squad. Maybe other years have a better conversion rate, but this is the dart I threw. So you get maybe 3/4/5 long term NRL players, a few that are still question marked.

The full NSW Under-18s squad is:

Tallis Angianga Central Coast Roosters
Jalal Bazzaz Illawarra Steelers
Bradman Best Newcastle Knights
Shawn Blore Penrith Panthers
Hayden Bonanno Penrith Panthers
Egan Butcher Sydney Roosters
Phoenix Crossland Newcastle Knights
Matthew Doorey Parramatta Eels
Duwayne Fuimaono Sydney Roosters
Brock Gardner Newcastle Knights
Ryan Gray Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs
Spencer Leniu Penrith Panthers
Jock Madden Newcastle Knights
John – Paul Nohra Parramatta Eels
Jaron Purcell Newcastle Knights
Jason Saab St George Dragons
Tommy Talau Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs
Maurice Trindall Penrith Panthers
Stefano Utoikamanu Parramatta Eels
Bronson Xerri Cronulla-Sutherland Sharks

7 players from last years game have already had a taste of first grade. Yeah but I’m sure the game means f**k all.

So 9 first graders?? Pretty decent conversion rate if you ask me.
