I think playmakers are the ones most likely to improve with age. Look at the oldest players in the game; plenty of halves and hookers there. They are also generally the latest to debut.

The most recent Origin game featured four halves and hookers over the age of 32.

They are 200+ NRL game players though.

JA isn't going to be ever first choice at an NRL club.

He may get to 70 and good for him

Cook and Walker aren't. They were late bloomers. Even DCE didn't debut until he was already 22.

The point is he is probably a long way from his peak, like any 21 year old playmaker.

185 & 187 games close enough to 200.

He has peaked mate I wish him all the best but right now he is at another club and Sanders is at the Eels let's talk this kid up.

No footy player peaks at 21. Some of them might get pushed out of the game by then, but any player who remains a full time pro will continue to improve long past 21. This is how these merkins are all still first graders in their thirties even though none of them had even debuted by Arthur's age:

Reynolds
Moylan
Walker
Cherry-Evans
Keary

Three of them went on to win premierships, despite being reserve graders when they were the same age as Arthur.

As for talking Sanders up, I'll wait until I see him in open age footy.

Why are you comparing JA to ...

Reynolds
Moylan
Walker
Cherry-Evans
Keary

You just hand picked the leading players in the NRL...

He isn't in their class never will be.

Just two examples of how "any player who remains a full time pro will continue to improve long past 21" is another Pou #shitlogic post.
Getting picked in rep teams too early isn’t the same as reaching your peak. Both those players are case studies in wasted potential. Neither of them peaked.

I noted all the halves over 30 who debuted older than Jake Arthur. There were also a few under 30 so debuted older than him as well.

Probably not, but at his age they weren’t even first graders. They hadn’t reached their peak. If they hadn’t peaked at the age of 20 why would Jake Arthur?

Because he isn't them...

Harry Siejka is 31 did he get better with age?

He debut at 20 for the Panfers.
