he was always leaving you wouldn't expect the kid to play back up for the first 3 or 4 years of his professional career.

mind you, the sharks choosing Moylan ahead of Metcalf is a bigger f**k up..

If Sanders stays, it would only be for an extension. Did anyone but the harshest of club critics expect anything else ?

A player swap if the Raiders want Sanders early would be ideal. But surely it won't be an NRL current player?

Promising junior for promising junior? Needs based - Wing? Centre? Prop? Hooker?

the kid is a spine player who will make plenty of top 30 squads in 24, I think a swap with a current outside back is fair enough in this circumstance.

bare in mind they will lose their top money earner next year also.

Don’t worry mate Sanders won’t missed, it was all part of the clubs plans. Development club!!
So it appears. Need a huge recruitment drive in the off season for back up backs or else everything will be blamed on Cayless again next year.
The Sivo challenge was interesting. The guy has fallen off a cliff. He was our weakest link no doubt and maybe the club realises exactly that.

it's probably a good opportunity to dangle him in front of Ricky early for a half decent outside back in return however I'm not sure MON has the kahunas to do it.
Exactly this Staggs. A huge opportunity but are we the negotiators we hope they are? We lost Nrown for who knows why and got nothing in return preferring to pay a small fortune for ..... yep another middle. Welcome Joffa.

We need a backup half next year, and Sanders is it at this stage. Josh Lynn is a nobody, and Talagi has no kicking game.

Didn't Blaize play for City under 20s recently at Halfback? He is also in our dev squad so I assume he will be the replacement for the bald NSW captain Rankin.

Oh Well looks like we don't have a backup half again 😂
How many have actually seem players like Josh Lynn play, he led the SGBall team for the first part of the season and they were winning . Yep, he didn’t make QLD U19s, the Broncos have a major say in selection, think they will favour a player that left their development team to play elsewhere.

Not saying he is going to achieve more than any other player, but he’s a decent size, got a kicking game and a goal kicker. Before taking shots at kids, let them develop. He did play in the halves in the Ball winning GF team, and didn’t look out of place alongside Sanders.
